Sammy walks onto the stage and smiles as he sees Eilidh, he walks over to her and kisses her on the cheek as he brings her in to a quick hug.

"Hiya Eilidh, I did say that right didn't I?" he laughs awkwardly as he realises he probably should know her name. His face starts to go slightly red with embarassment.

He sighs in releif as he realises it is a pretty awkward name to try and pronounce. "It is really a pleasure to be here, I am honoured to be the first ever guest!"

He laughs lightly, and then continues "I am really good thank you, in a pretty good place with my life and my music at the moment. How are you?"

"It's your first day here? I imagine it's not quite lived up to expectations has it, a bit cold and wet."

He pauses for a minute to reflect on his sudden rise to fame, "Yeah it has hasnt it; It has been a lot of hard work and it has been tiring, but i have loved absolutely every minute of it. I worked for a long time for this to happen, and then all of a sudden it has happened so quickly,"

Sammy laughs as she gets told off for talking about herself.

"I dont know really," he laughs, "I mean it has been a shock to see that the first single 'Please Don't Go' managed to sell a massive 192,000 copies, but i have worked for a long time to get to the stage where people could here my music. I have been playing gigs like 3 or four times a week for like 5 years. It's been so worth it though."

He nods, "Yeah there was. There was times when i really doubted if i could ever get to this level. I mean playing gigs to 12 people is pretty shi... it's not good." he quickly recovers from nearly swearing on TV. "I did have phases where i really questioned if leaving school at 16 to do music was a good idea. I could have gone to college and university and done something more with my life, but this was the path i chose to go. People had supported me, and so I stuck to my guns and kept on grafting."

"Yeah, I did. They had always told me that i was good at performing, and my mum always told me that she would be behind me with whatever i did. I've got a really supportive family. My dad wanted me to go to college, but he did support me, and for that i am grateful."

He looks at the camera and says, "Thanks guys." to his parents.

Sammy laughs with her, "Well they've done a lot for me, so they deserve a TV shout out." he laughs again.

Sammy nods, "Yeah, they can have whatever they want. I mean, compared to this time last year i'm loaded! I don't have a house to pay mortgage on, although i do contribute to the guy i'm living at's, he has been a good friend to me as well, allowing me to live with him for free until i started making it big time. I'm just trying to repay him now,"

Sammy looks into her eyes and smiles, "Thank you," he laughs, "Yeah, well these are the people who have been with me for my whole life, I would feel bad if i just ditched them for famous people."

"Yeah i like to think i'm original, although my good friend Aaron Marks does also do quite a similar style of music. He has had major success. But yeah, i am so happy with how it has been accepted. A lot of people wouldn't even have given me a try if they had heard i was just another rapper, but the acoustic bit seems to have drawn a few more listeners in too."

Sammy sees she is blushing and laughs quietly to himself, "Yeah," he responds. "I had heard his music from like MySpace and stuff before, so i had been following him before he really hit it big. And then when i actually met him first time it was really awesome because we just hit it off. Then we started playing a couple of gigs together, and i am currently touring with him! I have a lot of love for that guy," Sammy laughs
