Laura Wigging Out after a Drum Solo

Late 2009 brought Ithaca, NY a new band and after numerous practices, in late 2010 said band tried out for a Huge Musical Talent Show that would end in a record deal. That band was Book of Love, and it was the combination of Laura Paige & Peter Hampshire's efforts. They released a lukewarm E.P. called Mingle in Tokyo, featuring the Top Three bands of the AATW lineup.

After a Warped Tour appearance, the two became disillusioned with each other, and began an indefinite hiatus. Now, the two are back together and have recently released an E.P. titled: Church Social Group which has been certified Gold and peaked at #2 on the Chart Heat Top 20.

In response to this, Peter Hampshire squealed like a schoolgirl.

It's gonna be a sick month and I hope everyone whose interested in coming, will come. Also, to get to these venues, we're unveiling the unholy trio, the Eclectic Convoy. That's right ladies and gentlemen, we bought not one, not two but THREE CRAPPY VANS to facilitate all of our touring needs! Get ready bitches, because these vans are:
-QUITE CRAPPY!
-Two will be used for sleeping/mingling.
-One will be used solely for gear.

Peter: We probably will, problem is the last owner was great at washing out blood-stains so I have no idea which van is the murder van.

First off, sorry to Bikz and Rose, not to mention the rest of you guys for not being able to make this tour as awesome as I envisioned it, but as always real-life breaks down those dreams for a number of reasons including:

  • COLLEGE -
    As College comes closer and closer on the horizon, I have to focus on the whole application, work harder B.S. and all to make sure that I don't become a hobo(hopefully).

  • WRITERS BLOCK -
    This is a big'n besides the College one. I actually wrote a nice length BoL live performance to coincide with the first tour date but after that, I was all burnt out. Maybe I need to try something new, something fresh but for now, writers block has its ugly grip on me.


So yeah, that's the gist of it. Sorry guys, usually I abandon threads and all because I just get lazy but this time I hope writers block and increasing RL needs will sate your bloodlust.
