It was created as a full band but in 2010 it became a two-men project with Moreno algonside american singer Mike Haley. When they were a full-band they played nearly 30 gigs in Costa Rica and gained some attention in the metal underground so they released two demos. In February 2012, a new member was confirmed, the brazilian guitarist Paulo Dolabella, also the band posted that they were turning into a full band. In february 2012 they confirmed their debut EP, United Slaves Of America. The EP was released in February and peaked at #12 on the charts, with its title-single peaking at #7 and achieving a gold certification. In December 2013, Hero(in) released their debut album, Arde (spanish for Burn) which peaked at #5 on the Heat Charts. In February 2014, the band decided to release their fourth-and-last single from Arde, the choosen song was Dirty Glory, a highly-controversial song 'against' the american army, the single peaked at #16 on both charts (Airplay and Downloads). In the same month, their debut album hit the Gold certification after exceeding 500,000 sales world wide in 4 weeks. They are an independent band and Dave (Moreno), has said that H(IN) won't ever sign a record deal, they will keep with their own independent label, Fuck The Alternative. The band have sold over 2,000,000 copies world wide without any help or publicity from the media. Dave isn't playing guitar anymore (he wasn't a very good guitarist lol) to focus on the bass. We're turning into a full-band so we're now looking for a drummer. We decided to search for new members because we can't play live gigs with the actual line-up and playing gigs is the most important thing for a band. We have some people interested but Dave wants a latin drummer...I don't know why, I'm not latin so I believe he's going to fire me haha. Well, I want to confirm that we have recorded some pop hits, taking them into a metal style, they're awesoooomeeee! Just keep tuned because we'll announce our first single soon! The new drummer will be announced tomorrow, he's fucking wild! In other fucking news we are confirming our debut mini-album United Slaves Of America to be released this month through our own label Fuck The Alternative Recordings. The release date and artwork will be revealed soon. We decided to relese this as our first release featuring one original track and some covers, then we'll be releasing Arde which will feature just original songs.
