It feels great to say that, I don't even believe it myself. I remember being only a normal girl a few years ago and I would have never thought of becaming a singer, a member of a band. It wasn't exactly in my plans, but then again I think I've never made any plans before. The album is obviously about my life, which is what the title means in Japanese, "My Life". I always loved Japanese, it's been a part of my life and, also, using that title in Japanese is not just cool, but also describes it all better. I may have not written all of the songs, but all of them mean something to me. All of them describe something happened in my life, the biggest things obviously. The sound of the album isn't what people would expect from a Teen Titan, but it's the kind of sound I like. It's also different from my first solo album, which was more indie and had different kind of genres in it, which was part of my experimenting. This time I knew what I wanted to do and that reflects in that guitar sound, which appears in every song. Last time I wanted people to know better about me with the other album, but with this one I want them to get even more inside and I'm not interested in any chart position or stuff like that, I just want people to enjoy this. The drums at the beginning make it the perfect opening track for the album, with an intro that lasts almost a minute and after this, Tanya sings the first verse using low notes, but still fitting the drums and the other few instruments in the background perfectly. She uses the same tune for the pre-chorus, in which the guitar starts playing along to the other instruments. The song gets an happier vibe in the chorus, but suddenly comes back to the mysterious and dark sound of the beginning for the new verse, followed again by a pre-chorus and a chorus of the same sound of before. When the last chorus ends, the instruments minus the guitar keep playing, getting the song into the instrumental part and towards the end of this one, Tanya can be heard in the background making a sort of pleasing wail, which leads the song into its last chorus. After this one, the instruments stop playing and as Tanya sings one last line, the song ends. It's the best choice as opening track. It almost tells about the whole album with its lyrics and its sound. I actually recorded it just for that and Claire had the idea. I thought it was brilliant when I first heard it and I still think it is."

It starts the guitar playing and Tanya singing the first verse quite softly. As she gets into the bridge, her voice gets an higher tone and she hits an high note on the last line, which takes the song into the chorus, where Tanya stops at the end of every line sang loud by her. On the second "Alive" of the last line, she changes into an even higher tune. Then the song gets back to a slowlier tempo and Tanya sings almost softly again. So she sings the new bridge and choruses in the same way of before and on the last bridge, she hits a very high note with her powerful voice on the phrase "I did it". So in the last chorus, her voice gets in its most powerful phase, as she sings the ad-libs, with a choir singing the chorus. It begins with the guitar and a synthesizer playing and then Tanya starts singing the first verse with a cheerful tune, which is a mix of long and short notes that fit well with the background. As she screams on the last lines, the chorus starts and she sings louder, hitting higher notes appropriate for the background sound in which the drums are the lead instrument. Then the tempo gets normal again and she uses the same tune of the first verse, following the same formula of before as she screams on the last line and another chorus starts again. After this one, most of the instruments stop playing and Tanya's voice is what can be heard the most. She sings softly, but as soon as this bridge gets close to end, she starts screaming and sings one last long note for the last word, which leads into the last chorus. Then, right after the chorus, the guitar gets lead role among the instruments and plays long notes, while Tanya hits lower notes, but still fitting the sound. The trumphets, along with drums, is what starts the song and as she does a short and quite provocative laugh, Tanya sings the first verse using a fun tune. When the drums play louder a short instrumental, she says some "Yeah"'s almost whispering and leads the song into another verse, which is sung with a dance vibe added to the fun tune and with the last line, the first chorus comes. In the chorus, Tanya screams the lines and there's a kind of echo sung with lower notes on the ad-libs next to the lines she screams. After the last line, the trumphets play a catchy sequence of notes and the happy beat is kept for the next verse too along with Tanya's vocals. Then another chorus comes, followed by the middle 8 part of the song, where the beat slows down a little and Tanya's voice is heard along with a guitar and some trumphets playing in the background. She sings in this new verse in a lower way than the rest of the song and as she finishes it with the last line, the trumphets play the catchy beat of before again and a new chorus comes. The song ends with Tanya repeating some lines in different but low tunes with the instruments still playing the fun beat in the background until fading. The sound and Tanya's voice too, get a little louder for the chorus, finishing this with a long note. After the first chorus, the song keeps its intensity for the new verse and the next chorus too. Then there's a short instrumental in which a cheerful but slow sound is played by the instrument and as the drums play louder, the song gets at its most emotional part and so does Tanya with her vocals as a new chorus comes. At the end of the song, Tanya screams with a soft voice some lines and finishes the song holding a long and high note. It begins with the electric guitar and the drums playing and getting slowly louder. As Tanya can be heard singing softly the first verse, some synthesizers begins playing as well. The angry tone starts getting louder with the new verse and gets its loudest with the chorus, during which Tanya screams putting out all of her anger in her vocals hitting a lot of high notes. The chorus eventually ends with the highest notes and after these, the electric guitar plays some other high notes as well and the song gets into his tempo of the beginning as the new verse comes and is sung softly, followed by another verse during which Tanya slowly increases the anger she puts into the singing and gets at its most with the chorus. For the bridge, The song gets a short break from the angry feeling as Tanya sings almost whispering the lines with a bitter tone but quickly increases the anger and sings louder, leading the song into its ending choruses. It starts out with Tanya singing the first verse, with some provocative vocals and she's then followed by Nadia, who uses the same tune but sings in a softer way the pre-chorus. As the beat gets more festive, the chorus starts and the two girls alternate their voices in the chorus and at the end of this, a new verse sang by Tanya comes, followed by a pre-chorus sang by Nadia and another chorus. After this new chorus, the instruments keep playing the same sequence f notes but Nadia sings a new verse, followed then by a short instrumental where most instruments stop playing and Tanya sings the new verse with the same provocative tune, but gets loud on the last line, leading to the last two choruses, ending then the song. I loved working with her. I love all the girls of GirlSpice, but each one of them has something I like the most - Nadia has the voice. I think the track would have indeed been weak without her vocals. I asked Nadia to be featured on the song because I needed another female vocalist on it, because it's quite about the stereotype of the beautiful girl being called stupid and stuff like that. I simply hate it, even more being "Barbie Titan", which is that kinda stereotype that the media gave me, and trust me, I've had a lot of people thinking I wasn't that smart since then. Not only because it has my favourite girl in the world on it, but the message. I soo know what you mean. People judge everyone far too quickly these days, but they should take time to sit back and see us for who we really are. You girls' voices work so damn well together as well! I seriously love this song so much.
