Tom Orgsen, vocalist / guitarist and leader of the band, said: "We're totally excited! This is our first tour as a band, and personally it's going to be my first tour since 2011! It's incredible to be on the road again, we're looking forward to this tour, it's our first one and it's great to be headliners. It's our own tour...We had the option to support a bigger band in a bigger tour, but we decided to make it alone and play on small clubs and theaters, it's going to be a very personal experience, we are going to be very close to the fans. Also, we are summoning local bands for each show, we want to help new metal bands to get bigger so we have a lot of different opening acts on this tour. And we're getting a fourth member, for the shows: Dominik Brauer, an underground german guitarist, he's going to help us make the live shows even more brutal and heavier! We have a lot of surprises for the shows and as you may know, we're recording some tracks for the upcoming special tour edition of 'The Arcanum Circle' which is going to be released in September through Kaleidoscope Records." On the last two days, the band played 2 of their 3 planned shows in swedish ground. The shows at Stockholm's Hoven and Gothemburg's Scandinavium marked the first-ever headlining shows for The Enlightened and had a good reception from fans and critics. Tom Orgsen commented: "Making your live debut on the most important cities of your country, with two sold-out shows, is incredible! The fans loved the shows, we had a lot of surprises on the stage, so get ready if you have your tickets for the next concerts!". The setlist includes the entire track-listing of the band's debut album, The Arcanum Circle plus some covers and unreleased tracks from Orgsen's past projects, Andreas Nedland said: "The show's a blast. We're playing the full album, from its intro to its outro and in order, I really love to play the entire album, we're doing it because we have just one album and it's unique, probably we won't do it again after this tour. It's fantastic but really hard! In the album we used a complete orchestra and choir and in the live shows it's way more difficult to do that, but we're making it well, the band's sounding really demonic...We have Bill Owens as the sound engineer, I really consider him a member of the band." The Enlightened are close to finish their Scandinavian leg of the Arcanum World Tour 2014. The tour kicked off with 3 shows at Sweden (2 were Sold Out) before going to Norway to play on the great Oslo Spektrum in front of 8,000 fans. Their latest concert until now was a sold-out show at Helsinki's Jäähali with an attendance of 7,800 people. Tomorrow the band's going to play on Copenhagen's Store Vega and then they're travelling to Germany. Tom Orgsen was interviewed by a rock radio in Oslo and said: "This tour is going great so far...We've just started and the reaction of the fans is incredible. We have played in front of 8,000 headbangers in Oslo and Helsinki, that was fucking insane. We're really excited to finish this Scandinavian leg, tomorrow at Denmark, and to travel to the central Europe. We have a lot of fans in Germany so we're playing a lot of shows there! We did not make several changes on the setlist...We have just one album so we haven't a lot of material, but we're playing some covers of my favourite bands like Mind and Blood Of Wecz and tracks from my old projects. We're also recording for the Tour Edition of our album, it's going to be a deluxe edition, just for true fans!" Andreas Nedland, the most-controversial member of the band, was also interviewed in Oslo and commented: "The Arcanum Tour is demonic. The shows are fuckin' brutal. A lot of fans told me that they prefer our live sound, it's more classic-metal, rawer than the more orchestral sound of the album, and it's logical, we can't bring a 50-piece orchestra in our live shows, not for now...We're thinking about playing a special show with a complete orchestra on a famous theatre...I can't say more!" The Enlightened have finished their mini-tour on Germany (before returning on September 25th for a special show in Hamburg) having played 4 shows (3 were sold out) in front of thousands of fans. The concerts were acclaimed by the metal critics and fans and the band was very happy with the reception. Tom Orgsen told to a local radio: "This is amazing. We have recorded the four shows because they were all great! You'll see, Germany will be the protagonist on the Tour Edition of the album which is coming really soon! I consider this country as my second house, the german fans are always crazy, they're awesome." Dominik Brauer, the additional guitarist for the tour said: "It's incredible to be on tour with The Enlightened. I'm not an official member, but it's awesome to be on the tour...I'm really excited to play on Poland, my home, that's going to be fantastic...Just some days!" Setlist: 1. As you may know, The Enlightened stopped their European Tour to play a special performance at the fifth edition of the Fans Choice Awards in New York. The band gave a show during the awards, at the legendary Madison Square Garden, before winning two prizes: for Best Newcomers and Favourite Rock Single (for "Conspiracy")...This special show marked the live debut of the swedish band in America (it was their first show outside Europe) and Tom Orgsen told: "It's just incredible...It's our first show in the US and we're playing in the Madison Square Garden!!!!! It's almost impossible for an extreme metal band to play in such a legendary venue, and we're making it, thanks to the FCA's! This is going to be a special performance, and a teaster to our American tour coming in late October!" Check Out the FCA's Performance: As the lights go down, Tom Orgsen appears into the stage dressed with a costume of the angel of death and with his characteristic make-up. He gets closer to the microphone and recites deeply: "We have risen...Walked from the sands of time and oceans of destiny...We're the choosen...This is the new order...The new order of the ages!" Then, he takes his guitar and begins playing some melodies and armonies while recites: "The new order's here! The illuminated sons of destiny shall rule...This is the mighty Conspiracy!" As Tom recites, the other band members jump into the stage and start playing one of their most-brutal and heaviest songs from their debut album, "Conspiracy". A veil of secrecy, swearing oath, vow of silence. Fraternal brethren destined to for a new world order. Secret societies infiltrate infrastructures, our inner circle now lies inside the house of power. Illuminati, hidden hand, ancient legends. Throughout the centuries chosen to rule the human race! Beware the wrath of the all seeing eye, be forewarned of their deadly intentions, for they have conquered all seven mountains, behind their lies is an ancient curtain, covering their shadow government, ruling people through use of deception. Politically, religiously! World leaders, descendants of ancient covenant. Of one mind, seven kings, seven heads, serpent of omnipotence. Prophecy, seven pillars, seven seas, seven families. Scarlet whore, harlot Babylon give birth to me! Without you, nothing would be possible, so thanks for being there and supporting our music...Let's go with another single from our first album!" Tom starts playing the initial riff of the band's latest single, "Illuminate" while cheers the crowd: "Come on guuuys!" And you think you’re all alone, Master of your fate? They are watching each your step, controlling your brain. They will make you scream from pain or enjoy the lust. But remember you’re the mop, cleaning their filthy tongues. Illuminate! Here's the new order of the ages. Illuminate! Open the gate to a brave new day. Illuminate! Hail the blessed red triangles of fate. Illuminate! Watch the damned burn in hell! There is nothing you can do, masters they have none! You shall be reduced to ashes, your mind has melted down. Illuminate! New world order has begun. Illuminate! All for one, one fore none! Illuminate! Your child is burning slow. Illuminate! Watch yourself drown in blood! Some applauses can be heard The lights turn on again and Tom Orgsen talks one more time: "Yeaaaaaah! Fredrik Hedlund begins to play the characteristic drum-based intro of the band's first single, "Shadows" while Tom cheers the crowd... A vision is trapped inside my crystal ball, just close the door, don't live in the dark. Sleeping passion lies on a frozen ground, strong feelings can be found within our hearts, soon they'll come out again. Everything around me makes me see life clearly now. The Enlightened have finished the European leg of the Arcanum World Tour this October 3rd in Russia. They have played 25 shows in 15 different countries including several sold-out shows, mainly in Scandinavia and Germany, and playing the entire The Aracanum Circle album alive. Now the band's embarking to Latin America. This Latin leg is beginning this October 7th at Sao Paulo (Brazil) and will take the swedish trio to 5 countries before heading to North America. Tom Orgsen was interviewed alongside his band members in Russia, and commented: "It was crazy, really wild...This tour's going great so far, this European leg was incredible. We're very happy because of the great reception from the fans, I'm really looking forward to get back on that european stages soon!...Anyways, you'll have to wait. After the end of this tour we're heading back to the studio, we want a new album out there in early 2015...We're preparing a really ambitious album!...But first, we're going to rock America, it's going to be fucking awesome, guys, you'll see!!!"

The Enlightened are in the middle of their Latin American leg of the Arcanum World Tour 2014...The band have played at Brazil, Argentina and Chile and they were met with a hot reception from fans. Tour-member, Dominik Brauer, said to a brazilian radio: "It's just amazing...The people is really crazy here, they are outside the hotel shouting and cheering, it's just crazy haha!. The shows aren't that big (comparing to the european concerts), but it's great we're closer to the fans and they're a lot more noisy than europeans! Latin fans are the best, that's true." Check out a short-review of the band's show at Buenos Aires, Argentina: Jedbangers Magazine wrote: Opening with "Conspiracy", The Enlightened filled the stage with a gigantic presence enhanced by a nuanced set dressing, color palette, and an effective use of stage lighting. Tom Orgsen ruled the stage, whipping the crowd to a frenzy with his powerful delivery and exhortations of "It's incredible to be here!" Over the next 90 minutes or so, The Enlightened tore through a setlist consisting of their entire "The Arcanum Circle" tracklist as well as material from Tom Orgsen's previuos band, REÄLM and covers of well-known acts. Displaying incredibly tight musicianship and a dominating sound, all of the band members were firing on all cylinders, treating the crowd to a great show. Songs such as "Illuminate", "Shadows" and "Ascension To Abyss" had the crowd roar in approval, a roar that reached a crescendo by the time the band came onstage for the encore, "Cthulhu" while adorned in horned masks. Swedish metal trio, The Enlightened have finished their first ever world tour yesterday. The band embarked on a headlining tour across Europe, North and Latin America playing over 40 shows on 22 different countries. The band played in front of thousands metal fans including a special performance at the Fan Choice Awards IV ceremony. The tour included several sold-out concerts, mainly in Europe with audiences reaching nearly 10.000 fans. Tom Orgsen wanted to thank the fans for making The Arcanum World Tour a complete success and an unforgettable experience: Tom Orgsen wrote: Fuck yeah! Oh God, here we are, at the end of an incredible and superb experience. We have played the last american show just some hours ago and I can say this tour was a complete triumph. Incredible. We played in a lot of different countries and met a lot of crazy fans and great people! Being on the road is the most exciting task for a band, I loved this tour. It was really incredible to met with great reception from you, the fans, and all this was possible because of you! You have supported us a lot, I really can't ask for more! Huge thanks to ALL the people who went to see us alive and all who support our art...Now we're taking a well-earned rest but we're coming back brutally for the next year: new album and bigger world tour. Thanks again to all of you, to our managment and to the people at Kaleidoscope Records!...See you soon!
