Drew chuckled at the gif sent to his phone.

“So you not gon tell me how you doing?”

Drew wanted to first make it known that he does care about how she’s been and what she’s been up to. It was an answer he couldn’t help but ponder on through their separation. Even just hearing “good” would soothe his soul. With the next text, he decided to be very direct at the chance of seeming bold. He no longer knew what boundaries existed between the two so Drew didn’t know how what he was about to say would be taken. Only one way to find out


“I miss you.”

Drew frowned when Tisha said she moved.

“Moved where? You moved far?”

“I’m doing okay. Lot on my mind as always. been trying to take it easy.”

He noticed she didn’t say I miss you back. He took a small hit to his ego but let it out in a sigh.

”What does it mean, then?”

Drew asked, wanting to see where Tisha’s head was at. He wanted to make his intentions known but first, he was going to show her he could listen now. Drew had spent so much time in combat during their previous relationship that he had to re-learn how to ask with the intent to listen instead of asking to defend or attack.

“Miami is beautiful. I just got back from overseas.”

Drew has no idea Tisha had moved out of their home. When he left Tisha, he moved in with Deneil to the UK and then together they moved to New York. Drew was in no position to be jealous but it relieved him knowing that his fear of Tisha living happily in the home they built with someone else was now impossible. He knew she was the one back then. He built his dream house with his dream girl but fumbled the bag and destroyed his chances at his dream family.

”The Bronx.” Drew sends back. “You know how it is. The city slowed down a little since everything. Been back 2 years now. So many changes but this is home.”

“don’t try me I’m in riverdale 🤣” he sends back. “I ain’t say nothing about crazy ass Florida!”

“Well, I moved up here with D but he moved into the cbb house. Ever since, I’ve been on a writing frenzy. Been a while since I felt the excitement of creating for myself, ya know?”

To this day, Drew has never released a full length album. He didn’t need to, he made his money behind the scenes writing and producing for many different artists. He finally felt the push to focus on himself.

“Greattt you see him more than I do.” Drew hasn’t been alone in almost 4 years but the time to himself had him thinking deep. He thought reality TV was stupid and did not like the fact that this Celebrity Big Brother what he had to put his relationship on hold for.

“I know it sounds cliche but ionn see a reason to rush. Always believed it’ll come when it comes and it’s..........almost here 🤩”

Drew replied. He could see tisha was keeping it short with him and he sighed, thinking of what he could possibly say.

“Ti?”

“Am I out of line?” He types.

”for bothering you.” He texted back. “i know you tired of my ass popping back up.”
