For me, the Willing Well is the highlight of Coheeds career. They're my fave band and I love all they do and stuff, but in my opinion, the Willing Wells were unbeatable.

You've inspired me a bit to dig back into my Maiden collection.

'Purgatory' by Maiden (Their best, Thorgim would approve)

Among their best I'd say. Choosing a favorite MAIDEN song is like choosing between... errr... never mind. But oh well, Purgatory is fucking immense. Killer track.

Monster Magnet - Baby Gotterdamerung

I remember arranging a trip to London over one weekend, hotel booked with some friends, transport all sorted out, and then about a week before the gig Dave Wyndorf OD's on some fucking prescription meds and the tour got cancelled. I've totally never forgiven him for that, though the trip to London was still fun and a chance to see folk I liked, it kinda felt wasted. I mean the train journey from Inverness to London is twelve fucking hours man. Company rather made up for it, but fuck Wyndorf, I refuse to watch his band now.

But this song is still great.
