"HOW TO DESTROY YOUR BOYFRIEND" VIDEO PREMIERE
CO-DIRECTED BY GLAMAZON

UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage
The video opens with Glamazon stuck inside of an empty box as she winks to the camera, singing the opening verse. "STEP 1: TAKE HIS MONEY" flashes quickly on screen and the box starts to fill up with dollar bills as Glamazon is seen in a variety of different poses which change continuously as she lays in the money in one scene, looking innocently at the camera.

"I wanted to go for a lighter and more fun video compared to my previous ones" explains Glamazon, "It's definitely a revenge-seeking song but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it. For the opening scene, we just toyed with the idea of clearing a guys bank account and rolling around in everything he's worked for, because you know aside from women and sports, the typical guy loves cash."

UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage
"STEP 2: SPEND HIS MONEY" follows, Glamazon is now seen singing on a yellow motorbike before we then see a high angle shot to reveal a room full of them as she swings her hair, leans back and poses on the motorbike.

"For this scene I wanted to add a more feminine side to a typically masculine object" Glamazon states, "I liked imagining me and a girl gang riding off, leaving behind a guy left with nothing... I think that's a great way of revenge and it's probably a really soothing idea to girls who have had their heart broken and dream of that kinda thing."

UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage
"ALTERNATIVE: BURN HIS MONEY" is Glamazon's step 2 other option in her 'how to destroy your boyfriend guide', shots switch between a man being forced to burn his own cash and Glamazon holding the money, before opening her hands and dropping it all into a blazing fire.

"Some take a more stab-in-the-back approach whilst others like to go for the more full-on daring route. This is mostly my way of doing things. If you were to get your ex to hold all his money in his hands and you were to light it on fire in front of him, I think that'd be a great way to destroy him... it's also a great way to reduce a man to tears. Not that I'd know because I haven't done this which disappoints me in a way."

UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage
"STEP 3: SWITCH ROLES" comes after and we see Glamazon's head put on the body of a male bodybuilder, the body flexes its muscles and poses which follows a man seen putting on lipstick as he pouts. The scenes intended to belittle men and take away their masculinity to use in her own advantage and reign powerful over them.

"A lot of men like to play the alpha male and if you take that away from them, you're left with a vulnerable creature who doesn't really know what else to do with himself. This was an amazing scene and it cracked me up way too much after I saw the finished effects and everything, but a lot of truth lies behind it all and me becoming the newly formed male character represented my dominance over a guy; not because I was a man, but because I was something that he once was and no longer is after I'm finished with him."

UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage
"STEP 4: IN FOR THE KILL" is the final step in Glamazon's step-by-step video guide as she's seen in a black suit with a female on the floor beside her, clutching at her leg as Glamazon holds up a black chainsaw. The video ends with the lower half of a man taking his clothes off, representing his power being stripped away, the video ends with him just about to pull his trousers down as the video ends.

"The chainsaw is my new axe! It was love at first sight" Glamazon laughs, "It was mainly inspired by music videos where you see a try-hard dickhead trying to look like a bad ass with a girl at his feet whilst he plays with toy guns. It was me mimicking the idea and once again representing power and strength over the other gender. The guy stripping was a way of showing that I've finally destroyed him, there's nothing left of him as I've taken everything away."

Glamazon's "How to Destroy Your Boyfriend" is available to download for free now.

Hello, sweethearts!

Believe it or not, I am not dead. I'm currently on my UNCENSORED Tour which I'm putting all my energy into right now - that's why I've been absent from all award shows and events recently... but just think of the positives! All men can safely look behind and have peace of mind that I won't be standing there with a weapon of choice - good, huh? I VERY much miss the UK though, mainly because I bought a whole load of Earl Grey tea bags before coming out to the U.S. and they're running low... Americans cannot make good tea, trust me, I've tried.

I'd also like to write about the awesome performance Eric did of "How to Destroy Your Boyfriend" at Festival De Música, I watched the performance on YouTube and can safely say that he did me proud... who knew such a violent song could be turned into something so romantic? That takes skill. It's times like these where a bad bitch girl gang on the road is just not enough... I miss my lover!

In other news, I'm not recording any new music at the moment, but I've been doing some writing... mainly at 2am when my brain is feeling pretty fucking crazy, so now you know why I have the lyrics that I do. I wanted to share with you a song called "Another Lover" that I wrote last night, but don't get your hopes up, I don't have a new album planned in the near future.

"Another Lover"
(V. Rios)

You've got kisses trailing up your neck
You're coming home to me looking like a wreck
Early morning, I can hear when you pull up in your car
Key turning in the door, your shadow dancing in the dark
The sound of your footsteps slowly up the stairs
The scent of an unfamiliar perfume in the air
I know you've fulfilled your dirty desire
You've got the face of a liar

I know you've got another lover
So don't try and keep it undercover
I know you've got another lover
Cause the truth always finds a way to uncover

'I love you' means nothing, I'd rather hear a 'fuck you'
Because at least I'd know those words are more true
You can take back words but you can't take back your actions
An excuse is worthless, so don't think it'll dampen my reaction
You bring me a bunch of roses that I'll leave to rot until they're black
And I won't answer the phone until you decide to stop crawling back
And I won't answer the phone until you decide to stop calling back

Another shade of lipstick on your shirt
You're always desperately trying to hide the dirt
Late at night, it's just another fake business call
Because you don't think secrets escape those four walls
Everything soon always escapes out the door
So I can know the reason why I don't love you anymore
Smudged mascara tears and an overdose on pills
I won't be having a glamorous death over you like in the Hollywood Hills

I know you've got another lover
So don't try and keep it undercover
I know you've got another lover
Cause the truth always finds a way to uncover

'I love you' means nothing, I'd rather hear a 'fuck you'
Because at least I'd know those words are more true
You can take back words but you can't take back your actions
An excuse is worthless, so don't think it'll dampen my reaction
You bring me a bunch of roses that I'll leave to rot until they're black
And I won't answer the phone until you decide to stop crawling back
And I won't answer the phone until you decide to stop calling back

I wanna set things straight after all the words you twisted
I question myself if our love ever even existed
Maybe we were just a one-night stand that went on for a year
Maybe your lies were making everything seem so unclear
The truth may hurt but I wanna hear every single word
I've been longing for all the facts that have gone unheard
So go and say it all again, I wanna know everything that occurred

I know you've got another lover
So don't try and keep it undercover
I know you've got another lover
Cause the truth always finds a way to uncover

'I love you' means nothing, I'd rather hear a 'fuck you'
Because at least I'd know those words are more true
You can take back words but you can't take back your actions
An excuse is worthless, so don't think it'll dampen my reaction
You bring me a bunch of roses that I'll leave to rot until they're black
And I won't answer the phone until you decide to stop crawling back
And I won't answer the phone until you decide to stop calling back

My love goes to everyone performing at the festival today and tomorrow, make sure to kill it! x

- Glamazon

GLAMAZON APPEARS ON RHAPSODY'S THE BOX

UserPostedImageUserPostedImage

What inspires the majority of your songs?
Men, I'm constantly singing about what they've done to me and what I wish to do back to them in return for all the heartbreak and pain... what can I say? There's a lot of idiotic men out there. (Smiles)

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Spare time? What spare time? I don't get any! If there's ever the rare opportunity, then I'll either write a song, watch a silent film or write a love letter which eventually turns into an expression of my hatred and is then ripped up. The possibilities are endless.

Do you drink?
I do, water is very nice... as well as a cup of Earl Grey.

Who is your favourite artist at all time?
Myself. Because I know what type of music that I adore most and so I make it, isn't that how it is? Unless you're being forced to do music that you don't love. I think loving yourself as an artist is so important, why can't we be proud of our own music and tell everyone about it? Yes, myself. Although I adore Stephanie Fierce and Alicia Lena, they're my two favourites right now... I'm very much into the powerhouse vocals lately and they both blow me away.

If you could make a film, what would it be about?
I love that question! Hmm... it'd probably be the visual equivalent of my song "Lady Danger", me and my bad bitches would ride through the city at night, kissing all the policemen and then killing them. Kiss and kill, baby! (Winks)

What did you do before you became Glamazon?
Before that I was picked up by a label and I was an artist called Poser who did more brighter rap kinda stuff... it wasn't really my thing and so I ended my contract and went away for a while to grow up more and find my own style. But waaaay before that I was actually more into acting, I got offered my first big role in a UK soap, but I turned it down because I wanted to become a singer, could you really imagine me in The Queen Vic? (Laughs)

Aside from singing, what would be your dream job?
This is it for me, there's no other dream job.

Is it true you have an obsession with black and leather?
Of course, black and leather is the perfect match! Along with red lipstick, I've gone for a more classy look today, I wasn't really feeling like much of a dominatrix. Maybe I was more into being a stylish housewife who poisons her husband for a day?

What does it feel like to have a rockstar boyfriend?
I think the real question is, what does it feel like for my lover to have an axe-wielding psycho-pop girlfriend?

What is music to you?
Music is a way for me to vent without actually getting arrested.

If you could fight anyone in a boxing ring, who would it be?
Me? Boxing? Never. That's just way too obvious, isn't it? There may be a few people who I'd like to kill, but I never reveal such things. Otherwise where's the fun in it all?

What's your advice to aspiring songwriters?
Always write at two in the morning, four in the morning... times where your mind is most open to think of the unthinkable. I think adding feeling and honesty to your songs is the most important thing, because if you can't relate to your own song, then how will anyone else? It's why I hate a lot of pop music.

If you could invent anything, what would it be?
A way to duplicate myself, so I could send myself to a million different places at once, because that's what it feels like I need to be doing right now... I'm a busy bitch.

"POPPIN' PILLS" PREMIERE

UserPostedImage
RELEASED: 12th September

Making her Studio60 Records debut, "Poppin' Pills" is the first of many singles to come from Glamazon, all of the coming single releases will lead up to an album release later this year. With Glamazon's sing/rap style over a grimy synth-pop backing beat, "Poppin' Pills" fits in well with other daring and empowering anthems from her such as "Lady Danger" and "Rebellion". "After a song like 'How to Destroy Your Boyfriend', I forced myself to make something a little more carefree. It's a song that I wanted to show my wild and fun side on, because people think I'm some serious and moody bitch all the time" she claims, "Lyrically, it doesn't match up in substance to past records such as 'Withering Love' and 'Claws', but it was made purely for others enjoyment and doesn't take itself too seriously."

The song is sent to digital stores and radio on 12th September, the same day the CD single receives a release. Check Glamazon.com in the coming weeks for the second single release from the upcoming album.

"Poppin' Pills"
(V. Rios)

Police sirens are my morning alarm
I like it lethal, locked and loaded with a firearm
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they call me a woman on a mission
About to put these boys in a fatal condition
Set the rules and watch me break 'em
Lock your cars up, cause I'm about to take 'em

I'll go line them bottles up, then I'll go down 'em all
Line them boys up like dominoes, then watch 'em all fall
In this vodka I'll drown, drown, drown, drown
Them boys are going down, down, down, down

Put your motherfucking drinks up in the air
Out the door and we ain't wearing out cares
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills
Settin' fire to all our dollar bills
Gonna be swimming in the liquor we're about to spill
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills
Speeding downtown, catching them thrills
Kiss goodbye to all the men we're about to kill
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I came to start a war
And I came to start a riot on the dance, dance floor
Light it up and burn it down, forgetting all our broken laws
Let these lyrics cut through you like a chain, chainsaw
We go harder, better, faster, stronger, never the type to go slower
Armageddon starts tonight, burnin' bitches like a flamethrower

I'll go line them bottles up, then I'll go down 'em all
Line them boys up like dominoes, then watch 'em all fall
In this vodka I'll drown, drown, drown, drown
Them boys are going down, down, down, down

Put your motherfucking drinks up in the air
Out the door and we ain't wearing out cares
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills
Settin' fire to all our dollar bills
Gonna be swimming in the liquor we're about to spill
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills
Speeding downtown, catching them thrills
Kiss goodbye to all the men we're about to kill
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills

All the girls talk trash like bitches
All them girls go wishing for stitches
All the boys ask me to give head
I tell 'em that I only behead
Don't mess with me, don't fuck with me
I'll give you to the count of three
Or I'm gonna be taking some names
And some bitches are goin' up in flames

Put your motherfucking drinks up in the air
Out the door and we ain't wearing out cares
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills
Settin' fire to all our dollar bills
Gonna be swimming in the liquor we're about to spill
We're poppin' pills, poppin' pills, poppin' pills
Speeding downtown, catching them thrills
