Yet that is the least……. While her “All up on your face, I don’t care” attitude has brought her much controversy and hatred, especially after the March “Fake Death” incident, there is no doubt that her music isn’t ignorable. At the end of the day Hollywood drama and music are two very different things. When an artist makes their debut they think they know who they are but really…..they have no idea. This was not the case with Stephanie Fierce. However, throughout the years Stephanie Fierce has evolved both her sound and her “Fierce” lyrics. Take notice as you look at Hot Sot and you look at her recent “Massacre in the Industry”. And talking about “MITI”, Stephanie Fierce has recently been Mrs. Judge of the industry, claiming that pop music is now at its worst. But who is to blame her! Quote: Stephanie Fierce: “This whole mainstream/pop vs. underground/metal thing has been going on forever. I am aware of that. However, in my generation Pop has sunk to its lowest. People who say that music is evolving, I want to spit in your face. Twice! Music isn’t evolving bitch, music is rotting and it always has.” That’s why I’m making this a big deal and if it means career death for me then so be it, but no one is getting out alive. Stephanie Fierce can choose to brag how much she has sold and how many #1’s she has accomplished but instead she’s going to let the music do the talking. Deep down inside Stephanie is a very sweet compassionate person, but that side is overshadowed by what the media portrays of her. But going back to why she is the best solo female artist. Stephanie Fierce is not only innovative with her music but she is also inspired by many artists whom she looks up to. Most of them work in the underground world! So while Stephanie Fierce admires people like Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, she also admires bands like “The Producers” “Green Leaf” and many others who work their asses off to be heard. This also inspired her to take over a suffering label called “Hot Eye Records”. Not only is the label non-genre specific but it also focuses more on the talent aspect of music rather than record sales. No doubt that Stephanie Fierce has made an impact in the pop industry but, she has also stepped out of her comfort zone to please and help others reach their goals. Whether you think it’s admirable or not, you must admit not many pop artists take on that or make such a risky approach. Best Artwork: Stephanie Fierce ft. Johnny Johnson- Massacre In The Industry The cover features a nuclear explosion (screen shot from the music video) in reference to how Stephanie Fierce feels. Best Single & Best Performance in Mainstream Music: Stephanie Fierce ft. Johnny Johnson- Massacre In The Industry The song received many negative reviews from Pop critics. Quote: As Described by Hot Topic: The song begins with a chirpy chantey white noise type of sound that might actually make your ears bleed of annoyance. And according to the lyrics it is purposely done to scare away some listeners who are looking forward to catchy pop song. After a while of torture and pain the song finally opens up as a regular pop song, and the song builds up as she quickly transitions………….and wait for it…. to RAP and sing Opera! This may sound crazy but it was very unique combination/way to express her cockiness and the way she feels. However, its so overdone and mellow-dramatic. And how many times is she going to work with Mr. Johnny Johnson. While Johnson adds a little twist and aggression to the song, I think she should of done this solo. But So far so fierce! Right? The song then transitions back to the Pop we all know and love from Stephanie Fierce but before you get your hopes up that this song will end with a bang it then transitions into a 1 minute interlude-like Acapella where Raven Comatose is heard at various moments. This part has to be the weirdest minute in pop music history. You can actually hear people choking, farting? and………. let’s just say it’s not your typical way to end a song. Many questions come to mind as to why in the world would Stephanie Fierce want to destroy her career with this garbage! As if Rapping in the middle of this song wasn't enough! The song experimental song however makes a very bold statement. The Industry sucks! The single has very unique hard to comprehend sound and it features Stephanie Fierce’s Rapping and opera debut. Quote: Stephanie Fierce: “When you mix rapping and opera like gestures, you make black magic. The song will make you feel like you shrunk into a tiny submarine and took a trip inside my heart. It’s real, it’s raw and it’s music. Definitely proud of this song, I don’t give a shit what anybody says.” Sexiest Female Stephanie Fierce doesn’t try to be sexy, she is naturally sexy. The very proud married woman has taken the world by storm with her fierce look. Both women and men trip over just to take a look. That my friend is sexy! I also accidentally pressed cancel, so it's took me a while to do this. We start with an award very close to Jason Smiths heart, Sexiest Male. After his dismal failure at the Birdies to win, he is looking for vengeance. You cannot tell me that this man is not a sex god. Now, for Best Band & Best Alternative Performance. Whilst there may be better bands, few experiment and display such a huge range of feelings as Mind. Every album of theirs tells a detailed story of love, loss and everything in between, whilst still remaining hugely unpredictable and gargantuan. It mixes Jason Smiths huge range of vocals, from operatic tenor and clean singing to pterodactyl screams and death grunts with the lightning fast playing of Aaron Del Petro, and the funky yet visible bas playing of Harry Thornton and not to forget the blisteringly fast drumming of Robert Edwards. As well as coming 3rd in the Delta Tau Battle of the Bands, they have toured with massive bands, such as Quarantine. When they perform live, they are also a force to be reckoned with, combining the furious energy of metal with shining beauty of prog. They have also made history by becoming the first band ever to reach number one on the Top 20 Airplay Chart with their single The Aeronaut. All of their previous albums have been critically successful, and with what they feel is their masterpiece in Shattered Fairytale, they hope to continue pleasing fans for eternity. After missing out on various awards at the Birdies, can Mind finally take home the gold here? Best Single: Bludgeoned into Submission. Here's why: 1. Bludgeoned into Submission The song starts off with muffled speech and heavy breathing for around about 30 seconds. What it’s saying isn’t quite clear, since electromagnetic static is making it difficult to make out. Then the sounds fade out quite quickly. We are brought back down to Earth in a tremendous fashion as a post-industrial, groovy and meaty riff in the vein of Gojira or Meshuggah pounds the listener into oblivion. To add to the heavy guitar work though, are some more unusual instruments. A hurdy-gurdy plays slowly in the back, along with a glockenspiel and very brief moments of sitars. It is extremely layered and it gives it an atmospheric, futuristic edge. After a couple of minutes with this riff being played, alongside furious drumming and harsh vocals, the song takes a bit of a turn. It stops suddenly for a short period of time, leaving the sound of war cries. A gentle acoustic guitar then comes in, playing the exact same riff from The Juggernaut. There are no vocals during this part, just the acoustic and the hurdy-gurdy playing. This blissful peace doesn’t last however, and it then goes back into the riff, with Jason playing the main riff and Aaron playing a lightning speed solo. After the solo, it fades back into static screaming and a quiet child’s voice whispering indecipherable lyrics. A gentle piano part then plays the song out. 2. Land of Sunshine (Faith no More cover) As suggested by the title, this is a cover of one of Minds favourite songs. As well as keeping the original flow and super-funky bassline, it's given an unique Mind twist with the vocals and riff. 3. Realm of the Alien King (Demo) Opening with the sounds of machinery at work and laughing over the top of it, you can tell that this song is going to be unusual. Then it suddenly cuts into an Iron Maiden-esque speed metal riff, similar to “Invaders” off of “The Number of the Beast”. Every now and then, Aaron bursts into a barrage of arpeggios. The drums are a mixture of jazz drumming and the traditional Mind blastbeat. When it finally gets into the singing, all the instruments hush back a little, except for the drums, which remain at the same volume. The singing itself is clean, in fact, surprisingly clean giving the surrounding of the song. Once the verse ceases, the volume is raised again and back to normality. This continues into the third verse, until everything is dropped into a pounding, heavy riff. Over this riff, a single scream from Jason erupts for about 20 seconds. The drums go to blast beats totally and the bass plays a single note over and over again. The song fades out into the sound of a laser gun being shot and evil laughing. Technical Ecstasy award: Aaron Del Petro for his epic and huge solos, amongst complicated riffs and organisation of guitar pieces.

Best Band : Moronic Changeling Course you know the ones. These three girls, who have collectively released 11 albums, have been around since the beginning of time. ((OOC : No kidding, longest running current RP artist.)) They've been up and down and all over the place, and are best known for a MILF of a lead singer who loves mashed potato, an impossibly brilliant ninja pirate drummer, wild live shows with memorable gimmicks, and a crazy amount of line-up changes. Musically, you couldn't put them in a box. Best Band : Firecracker 47 These four madcore misfits - cute and cuddly twins Joshy and Roxy, and former Nightside Bikithans James and Mikki - never really thought they'd get anywhere when they started out. But now, Firecracker 47, especially their angelic-sounding shoe-loving lead singer, have smashed into the music industry and made their name. Best known for calming voices, epic bass and general madness mixed with cuteness, they're worth a vote. Best Solo Artist (Female) & Best Personality : Kamikaze Kate She's a politically incorrect teenage slut who can scream, play three chords and perform awesome live shows revolving around bodily fluids. HELLZ YAH. Best Solo Artist (Female) : Machete She may not have been around long, but Mache has ruffled a few feathers! When her first single 'Nightside Blonde' had come out, she had already created the Bitch Triangle, and then went on to rally troops for the Metal Revolution. Many bands became interested in this. Musically, Machete's deep, throaty voice, interesting lyrics and love of heavy metal make her sure to be a favourite in no time. Best Solo Artist (Female) : Bri Kildare Firecracker Brigid used to be known as the girl who made the Gillians bassist make zombie sperm on Big Member .... now, she's something else. She's mysterious, a beautiful stranger, extremely musically talented (she plays a lot of instruments, her favourite being the flute). Her latest single 'Sway', a duet with husband-to-be Joshy Firecracker, set a new benchmark for more delicate pop music. Best Solo Artist (Female) & Best Newcomer : Yasmin Storme Following in Raven and Kahlen's footsteps, the youngest girl in the Storme family is ready to make her own individual mark on the industry. We don't know yet what she'll bring to the table, but she's sounding good so far on her debut, which is leading the DBM collaboration single 'Behind Misty Sky'. Nick plays five kits (firmly duct-taped together) and co-ordinates all four limbs (and occasionally her head) to do the best she can - and never plays a bum note, she knows what she's doing. Being as she's only 4'10" and her 'main' kit is bigger than her, she leaps around like she has all the energy in the world. A delight to listen to and watch, and an inspiration to female musicians. Special Contribution : Katie Kairiri Katie started out working at Rekordfirma van Mouschi, before taking over The Dorc. She did some time co-owning Midnight/Mythic Records and DVI Records (the biggest labels ever), later forming her own company, Delta Tau Entertainment, which has run four Battle Of The Bands, seven Mashfests, four Madcore Tours, and all the post-Lewis Mason Birdies. Katie was also head producer at Kirsty Studios, where most of the albums of the DBM, CBM, etc. artists (the 'Power Three' being Moronic Changeling, Emma Blunt and K.I.C.K.A.R.S.E.) were recorded. Katie has also had her hand in the film industry, directing four films - 'PATHofCATandBLOODofLIFE', 'Pop Tarts', 'My Immortal' and 'Fierce'. With vocalist/self confessed "little bitch" Cassie Summers already having royally pissed off everyone from Sexy Star to Stephanie Fierce, describing the latter as "whore", "tramp", and "ready to lie on her back as soon as someone clicks their fingers", CBC are certainly going to be a handful. Describing themselves as "The hottest fucking band ever", LA's newest 5 piece are not short on confidence, and have their stunningly arrogant debut single "Yeah, I see you..bitch!" to back up that confidence with some style and grace. A real punky attitude enforcer, CBC will turn heads for a long time if nothing else!
