Radio: YESS IN FUCKING DEED GIRLS! Loved it, Stephanie bitch, I see you doll. You know I never knew you rapped, maybe seeing more rapping in the future because doll, I JUST CRIED, DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN WHEN I HEARD YOUR LITTLE FIERCE VOICE. And in plus, Girl Spice adds the sex appeal I love so much in their vocals. This was a track that I'm downloading and when I'm partying, it was be on fucking repeat, matter of fact, NO FUCKING SHUFFLE... it was just be on repeat and anything who has a problem with it can really just fuck me.. or theirselves. Maybe not me. I can't do that to my king Daniel, but anyway- amazing track dolls. I'm proud of this. Def getting the album.

OOC: Yessss was my exact words when I finished reading the record. Great job Stacey. Loved it, the lyrics, it all flowed so well. btw, I love the album cover and title. So pop.

(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes)

Sounds similar to:

Keeping things a little more on the wild side on the first half of the record is "Give Me What I Want", a hard-hitting electro-house track that's one of the most upbeat tracks on the album. The lively track shows GirlSpice experimenting with harder, more sinister dance beats, compared to their previous material, which could be considered more pure pop. Featuring jumpy, distorted vocals from the girls, it's far from a track where you're able to appreciate their vocal abilities, but more so a club-banger to get you moving. Despite having very radio-friendly, pop lyrics, "Give Me What I Want" has a wild synth-dominated beat that could even be considered a little too much for mainstream pop radio, and more suited to the European club scene.

However, that's more than okay for the girls, according to Sophia, "We were just looking for something super fun and dancey and not so serious, and had such a fab, fab, FAB time making this song!" Lyrically, the song is simplistic and although could be considered shallow by some, the girls are definitely well aware. "I think the great thing about this song is that the lyrics are so simple, like something you could easily hear over your average pop beat," Chantal comments, adding, "Yet we thought we'd pair the lyrics up with a total dance, rave beat that pushed the boundaries a little bit, we're just showing the endless possibilities there are to pop music."

All

Take a picture of your love for me and let me frame it
Engrave your name on a chain and let me wear it

Got a heart of gold, but a face like stone
Let me bring you to life, baby, we could break the mould

Fill these cracks caused from sadness and let downs
Cover up the holes of madness and break downs

No need to cry, these sparks will fly
And I've given enough time for these tears to dry

You've got that love supply that never ends
And it keeps me going, right till the very end
Used to be held down, now let me rise above
Cause I've hurt enough, now I'm ready for love

You got the kinda thing that I've been looking for
And you've got the kinda thing that I've been longing for
So come on, come on, what you waiting for?
Just give me, give me, give me what I want
You got the kinda thing I've been searching for
And it's the kinda thing that I've been craving for
So come on, come on, what you waiting for?
Just give me, give me, give me what I want

You've got an open mind, let me stroll right through it
And if that's what you're thinking, then I want you to do it

Got a tongue that tastes of a vodka shot
And a body that looks just like God

Let's leave our broken memories out in the distance
And make the past disappointment non-existent

Cause you got everything I want
Now come and get it while it's hot

You've got that love supply that never ends
And it keeps me going, right till the very end
Used to be held down, now let me rise above
Cause I've hurt enough, now I'm ready for love

You got the kinda thing that I've been looking for
And you've got the kinda thing that I've been longing for
So come on, come on, what you waiting for?
Just give me, give me, give me what I want
You got the kinda thing I've been searching for
And it's the kinda thing that I've been craving for
So come on, come on, what you waiting for?
Just give me, give me, give me what I want

You gonna keep me waiting, boy?
Oh, woah, you gonna keep me anticipating?
Don't you know that I hate all the time wasting
And all the silly games, let's get to the chasing
Cause it's finders keepers and you're up for taking

All night, don't stop, hey
Keep it, keep it going till the morning light
Let's take it right to the dead of night
All night, don't stop, hey
Keep it, keep it going till the morning light
Let's take it right to the dead of night

You got the kinda thing that I've been looking for
And you've got the kinda thing that I've been longing for
So come on, come on, what you waiting for?
Just give me, give me, give me what I want
You got the kinda thing I've been searching for
And it's the kinda thing that I've been craving for
So come on, come on, what you waiting for?

"Missing Me"
(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes)

Track five on the record, "Missing Me", is a sultry, heartfelt track with powerful, soaring vocals from the group, sung over synths and distorted drums. Perhaps one of the best vocal performance delivered by them all on the album, heard especially in the explosive chorus. Despite being bass-heavy and slightly more upbeat than your average ballad, there's still a lot of emotion to be felt in the song, as the group sing about a dysfunctional relationship, and not quite knowing where you stand in it. Lyrically, it's a lot deeper than the earlier songs on the record, and shows GirlSpice in a more vulnerable state compared to their more dance-driven songs.

"It's like in a relationship, you end and move on, but in the case in this song, it's like the two of you are almost still clinging onto the past because it's a comfort," Nadia states. "You know it won't work in the end, but you still have this longing for them. It's like saying, 'Hey, we're not together anymore, but do you miss me? Cause I miss you.'" Coming after four big fun, uptempo songs on the first half of the record, "Missing Me" changes things up rather dramatically with its tempo and lyrical content. "We're all a lover of this one in particular because it's something we can all relate to one way or another," Chantal adds, "GirlSpice have never done your typical, dreary ballad, so this is the closest we really get to that on this album."

Tell me if you're missing, missing me
Cause I'm really missing, missing you

Tell me if you're missing, missing me
Cause I'm really missing, missing you

We're both a puzzle with missing pieces
I had my reasons, you had your demons
We were both just looking for love
Hunting for our greatest rush
Turning into something we didn't expect
Just two hearts looking to connect

We can call it off, but we still get it on
Doesn't feel right, but it doesn't feel wrong
We can say that we've moved on from each other
But we still crawl back to one another
Oh baby, whenever you think of, think of me
I wonder if you're missing, missing me

Cause I can't deny that these feelings are true
And that I'm missing, missing you
So tell me what I'm supposed to do
When I'm missing, missing you

We were both just looking to escape reality
Get lost in each other and they'd never find you and me
Cause baby, we were made to make a scene
Yeah, we had hopes and we had dreams
But life tore us at the seams
So what do we do when we come to an end?
What do we do when we wanna be more than friends?

We can call it off, but we still get it on
Doesn't feel right, but it doesn't feel wrong
We can say that we've moved on from each other
But we still crawl back to one another
Oh baby, whenever you think of, think of me
I wonder if you're missing, missing me

Danielle: BITCH, this album is makin' yo gal feel some kind of way, girl, MISS YOU. Miss thang, got yo girl ova here, just letting these BOYS HAVE IT HUNNY.

Aubrei: That's the problem Dani, you let everyone HAVE it...

Danielle: Girl, you tried it. I'm no hoe, like the girls said, give me what I want. That's all I need- let's not go there Miss THANG! Aubrei, all those spider webs between your legs girl should be screaming for some attention now.

Bianca: Let's act like ladies Danielle. We should respect the legends... eh, these girls just don't do respect.

Laci: Tell em girl. Okay. I'm enjoying the album so much loves. I think this has to be some of my favorite work from such an iconic group. I enjoy the new era of you all, I think the production is so timeless. I'll be the first to support the tour, whatever you need for me. This is brilliant in so many ways.

Danielle: Girl, stop.

"Fantasy"
(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes)

Sounds similar to:

Despite being another uptempo on the record, "Fantasy" is sugary, fun, pure pop music, and far from the extreme, in-your-face beats heard on earlier tracks on Make a Scene. Keeping things a little more on the mellow side following "Missing Me", "Fantasy" is an almost 80s throwback with its retro, disco vibes and infectious, hook-filled lyrics. It's not until the chorus where the song really begins to pack a punch in its beat, as the airy, soft vocals from the girls blend perfectly together over shimmering synthesizers and a drum beat. Sophia's voice in particular lends itself well to the light-hearted feel to the track, singing the middle-eight solo and opening the first few lines with her gentle vocals.

With the beat to the song being more on the fun side and having a softer pop sound to it than others on the album, the lyrics suitably go hand-in-hand to the feel of the song. "This one's rad because it's just an earworm, we've always been praised for having songs that are impossible to get out of your head, even if you hate the song, and this is totally one of those," Kimberly states. "The chorus is one of our favourites on the album, because it's the simplicity of it that's really in its favour, it's not complicated, it's not try-hard, it's just feel good, easy listening pop music," Nadia adds. "When we go into a genre, we like to push it to the extreme, so we do a super dance song, or in this case, something that's incredibly pop in every way."

All

Whenever things get tragic
You fix it all just like magic
Cause you've got that golden touch

And you know just how to set me off
Cause together, we're nothing but perfect
Don't tell me the heartbreak ain't worth it

We could be just what we've been looking for
We could be the thing that we've been wanting more
Love, happiness, money and all the fame

We could put an end to each other's pain
And I'd let you play the leading part
To this aching open heart

Oh we could live a fantasy, a fantasy
And we could live so happily
Take a risk and baby, come away with me
We'll turn our dreams into a reality
And we'll live a fantasy, a fantasy
We'll live a fantasy, a fantasy

Was never the type to believe in a fairytale
Pretty dress and a blonde girl with pigtails
Disney endings and all this pretending

I'd rather not hear about all the storytelling
But you could make me believe in just about anything
And we could become each other's everything

We could be just what we've been looking for
We could be the thing that we've been wanting more
Love, happiness, money and all the fame

We could put an end to each other's pain
And I'd let you play the leading part
To this aching open heart

Oh we could live a fantasy, a fantasy
And we could live so happily
Take a risk and baby, come away with me
We'll turn our dreams into a reality
And we'll live a fantasy, a fantasy
We'll live a fantasy, a fantasy

A fantasy, a fantasy
You could do it all so easily
Make me slip away into a dream
And I'll be lost forever
So don't go looking for me
I'm running away from home
Away from everything I've ever known
So never say never, baby
We could be together forever
And live a fantasy, a fantasy

Oh we could live a fantasy, a fantasy
And we could live so happily
Take a risk and baby, come away with me
We'll turn our dreams into a reality
And we'll live a fantasy, a fantasy
We'll live a fantasy, a fantasy

"Never Let Me Go"
(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes)

Sounds similar to:

"Never Let Me Go" helps Make a Scene to take a more softer, elegant turn on the record, featuring symphonic strings and guitars, with light, seductive vocals from the group. With gentle, slower verses, the song slowly builds up, before it gets to the pre-chorus where sole, dramatic strings are heard, before the more uptempo chorus hits, with additional strings and stronger vocals, all of the group singing to blend perfectly together. Despite being considered a ballad by the group, the song still features more of a beat behind it in the same way that "Missing Me" does.

The song itself features hearfelt lyrics about longing for the past and wishing to have someone back, never wanting to lose them again. It's a typical subject in pop lyrics, but the girls are confident that the electro-ballad has unique qualities that sets itself apart from many other songs that are currently on the radio. "I sooo love this one, I think it's my fave, cause it just sounds so pretty!" Sophia claims, "I think we can all have a little cry to it, awww, so sad babes." Describing the sound of the song, Kimberly adds, "There's a slight trance feel to the song and you rarely hear strings in that kind of music, so I think it's totally cool that we've gone and done that. We wanna be able to set trends on the radio with this album, so we're hoping to do that with songs like these."

I miss the names you used to call me
And I miss the way you used to hold me
Come on and promise me things will be the same
Don't tell me it's impossible to ignite an old flame
We let all our chances pass right by us
But baby, we had everything going for us

Eyes that could tell me the sweetest lies
And I wouldn't care, I'd still feel so alive
For letting our love go, there's no excuses
We've gotta be so, so, foolish

You could light me up in the darkest of times
And you could save me from the worst of crimes
From the day we started to the time we parted
You're still everything that I've ever wanted
If I run back to you and put my love on show
Would you say you want me and you'd never let me go?

I miss the times that we used to share
The way your brown eyes would always be there
You'd captivate me like nobody
The way the sound of your voice could take control of me
And I've missed it ever since we drifted
I miss the days when we existed

Eyes that could tell me the sweetest lies
And I wouldn't care, I'd still feel so alive
For letting our love go, there's no excuses
We've gotta be so, so, foolish

You could light me up in the darkest of times

You're still everything that I've ever wanted
If I run back to you and put my love on show
Would you say you want me and you'd never let me go?

Cause we were perfect, we were made to be (to be)
We spent our days together so happily (so happily)
So why'd we bring it to a sad, sad end?

Why'd we make it so hard to mend?
We used to fight for one another (one another)
And in the end, we lost each other (each other)

You could light me up in the darkest of times
And you could save me from the worst of crimes
From the day we started to the time we parted
You're still everything that I've ever wanted
If I run back to you and put my love on show
Would you say you want me and you'd never let me go?

"Soul to Sell" (feat. Blood of Wecz)
(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes, S. Rose-Hilton)

Sounds similar to:

Possibly one of the most anticipated songs on the record, "Soul to Sell" is likely to be considered as GirlSpice's most experimental song yet, and it doesn't come with much surprise, with a feature from Blood of Wecz. Despite collaborating with metal acts Thunderwolf and Aerospliff in the past, GirlSpice lyrically and sonically, go deeper and darker in their music than ever before. With the sound being dramatically different to a lot of the other songs on the record, with prominent electric guitars and a mellow drum beat in the background, GirlSpice's vocals contrast with the slightly heavier sound to the song, sounding soft and light. Whilst Scott Rose-Hilton appears later in the song with his own verse, with a lot more powerful and force behind his vocals, a louder, more complex guitar riff heard underneath his voice, provided by Mark Talley.

"We've often had the one or two oddball tracks on our records that don't really sound like the rest, but they stand out for being really different for us, and we like surprising people like that whenever we come back with a new album," Nadia explains. Despite being uncertain if Blood of Wecz would be willing to collaborate with the group on the song, she goes onto explain how she was thrilled once she got the call that they were interested. "I really respect the guys, they've got a big reputation in the metal scene, and I even said, 'Look guys, we're completely different, and I don't want you to lose whatever badass rep you've got for collaborating with us, so feel free to say no', but they were up for doing something different. All the legends in the industry are willing to move dramatically out of their comfort zone, so it just proved to us and everyone how open minded and daring they are."

Give me a mind of the greats, a heart that never hates
Oh, I never wanted to be the one rejected at the gates
Now I'm a body of thorns, being pulled down by the vines
Now tainted in every way, and now I no longer shine
You took everything that I used to call mine
Broke off these wings one feather at a time

Now I'm sinking into the ground
And I don't know how to break out
I used to have it all
But every angel has to fall...

So tell me if you've got a soul to sell
Cause I'm going straight to hell
I'll be the person that you could never see
I'll become who you wanted me to be
I'll let you show me, you can mould me
Into a soul that's whole

These eyes sting every time you make me cry
And now I fall every time I try to fly
Face to the ground, wrapped in chains
And there's no breaking out from this pain
I guess that's where you get your kicks
You break my walls that used to be made of bricks

Now I'm sinking into the ground
And I don't know how to break out
I used to have it all
But every angel has to fall...

T-take your hands right off of m-e-e-e
I just wanna be free-e-e-e
Cause the further I go in this direction
The more I start to hate my own reflection

So tell me if you've got a soul to sell
Cause I'm going straight to hell
I'll be the person that you could never see
I'll become who you wanted me to be
I'll let you show me, you can mould me
Into a soul that's whole

So break this crown of mine
Rip up these wings one feather at a time
You can't save me and you can't help me
I'll lie here bleeding on the ground
Cause I'm going down, down, down

I'll breathe free from the toxic chamber you locked
Break away from this fate that I forged in flames
Never knew that I could fly too close to the sun
I rolled a dice for my life now I'm done with these games
I should've seen your friendship turn from love to malice
A liquid nightmare I consumed from your poisoned chalice

So tell me if you've got a soul to sell
Cause I'm going straight to hell
I'll be the person that you could never see
I'll become who you wanted me to be
I'll let you show me, you can mould me
Into a soul that's whole

"Moving On"
(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes)

Track nine on the album is "Moving On", coming close to the end of the album, so GirlSpice of course put in that one final reminder why you're listening to their record - for mostly catchy, fun pop music. And "Moving On" certainly does more than that with its energetic, fast-paced electronic beat throughout the track, the most uptempo song on the album alongside "Give Me What I Want". The song opens on a softer note, nothing heard but synths under Chantal's voice for the gentle first verse, before the song wastes no time in bursting into a full-on dance beat for the chorus, which helps the pace of the rest of the song to speed up. The following verse, although softer than the first verse, features a more prominent beat than before, making sure the song never loses its momentum along the way.

"Moving On" is a simple song about life after a break-up, but instead of writing a sad song about the whole scenario, the girls turn it into a euphoric dance track that lacks any sort of sadness. Instead, the whole message is empowering, to simply move on from the situation without a second glance. "As such a successful group, we feel like we're in a position where young girls are not only listening to our music to have a good time, but they're also looking up to us," Chantal reveals. "They're listening to our songs and wondering what we'd do in their situation, and so I think it's great we've got songs like these that are really positive and fun, something to cheer you up and give you a boost in a bad situation."

From riches to rags, from love to hate
This was always destined to be our fate
From engagements to break ups

Fancy pick ups to quiet walks on the pavement
But I'm not sad, and I'm far from lonely
The silence is more than you ever told me

Cause I'm going, going, going
Said I'm going, going, going
And once I'm gone, there won't be no stopping me

Call it what you want, woman's intuition
For far too long, I've known we're in a fatal condition
Call it what you want, cutting ties, burning bridges
I'll leave you to find a girl to be another one of your bitches
Cause baby, we ain't going strong
And we've been doing this for far too long
So listen to the sound of me moving on

What used to be romantic evenings
Turned to dark nights staring at the ceiling
And I look back on all our photographs

All the times you used to make me laugh
Ha, now the only thing that's funny to me
Is what a joke you turned out to be

Cause I'm going, going, going
Said I'm going, going, going
And once I'm gone, there won't be no stopping me

Call it what you want, woman's intuition
For far too long, I've known we're in a fatal condition
Call it what you want, cutting ties, burning bridges
I'll leave you to find a girl to be another one of your bitches
Cause baby, we ain't going strong
And we've been doing this for far too long
So listen to the sound of me moving on

I'm loving the sound
Of these heels walking out the door
And your tears falling to the floor
Said I'm loving the sound
Of these heels walking out the door
And your tears falling to the floor

Now I'm the one who's shaking the ground
And I'm moving on, I'm moving on
I'm moving on, I'm moving on
And I'm moving on, I'm moving on
I'm moving on, I'm moving on

Call it what you want, woman's intuition
For far too long, I've known we're in a fatal condition
Call it what you want, cutting ties, burning bridges
I'll leave you to find a girl to be another one of your bitches
Cause baby, we ain't going strong

"Until We Meet Again"
(Lyrics by N. Berry, K. Gold, S. Stellar, C. Hayes)

Finishing off the album is "Until We Meet Again", a song title that may seem funny to fans, especially when ending a GirlSpice record, considering you literally never know when you'll be hearing their next album, they take their time to say the least. Sonically, it's a lot different to the majority of the album and more along the lines of "Soul to Sell", except with a slightly more upbeat, cheerful feel to it. With a relaxed drum beat in the background and dominant guitars that run throughout the course of the track, the song has a more alternative pop feel to much of their discography, but the girls carry the tune well, especially Nadia and Kimberly, who's more powerful voices lend themselves well to the grittier feel of the song.

"There's a real desperate, sad feel to the song, that we all really liked. The sound of it is slightly upbeat, but there's that underlying sadness in it all that really fits to the lyrics perfectly," Nadia explains. "Until We Meet Again" is a track about wanting a fling to turn into something more, but never happens from the lack of interest from the other person. "I think a lot of people, especially girls, get really attached easily, especially when it comes to one night stands. And we liked that whole idea of meaningless sex that never turns into real love, even though the other person seeks for it."

Now you know I love the mystery of a stranger
Dark eyes behind dark shades, could be a whole load of danger
No regrets, at least unless we do it quick

But I don't care, I love a dare and I love the risk
Don't even have to know your name
Only thing I wanna know is if you want the same

Couldn't tell you how he looked if you asked me
Caught up in the moment, but he was a diamond, I guarantee
All I wanted was for him to come home with me

Tell me I'm all wrong, and that you don't agree
That I don't value love enough and all its qualities
I'm just not the type to believe in romantic ideology

So I'm not gonna call it love
Or anything similar, all that crazy stuff
I just wanna see you again, feel that same spark
Like that last time, when we melted away in the dark

You know that kiss you last gave me sent me crazy
And ever since, I haven't been acting the same lately
Still haven't seen your face for many weeks
But I'm still trying to claim your heart for keeps
If you wanna repeat, then just tell me when
Cause I won't feel right until we meet again

I won't call you up and tell you that it's you I miss
Too stupid, too proud, call it what you wish
But even if things were different, I wouldn't have the chance
I just sit and wait in the cold night, pitch black
Cause you disappeared before I could even get your number
It felt so different, but you disappeared just like all the others

In your head, your heart, there must be no love allowed
I must have been another face in the crowd
An easy target within your view
Guess that's the difference between me and you
Cause I fall for the heartless so easily
While you always run off so freely

So I'm not gonna call it love
Or anything similar, all that crazy stuff
I just wanna see you again, feel that same spark
Like that last time, when we melted away in the dark

You know that kiss you last gave me sent me crazy
And ever since, I haven't been acting the same lately
Still haven't seen your face for many weeks
But I'm still trying to claim your heart for keeps
If you wanna repeat, then just tell me when
Cause I won't feel right until we meet again

A kiss goodbye when I'm sleeping isn't enough
Keep it hush, empty sheets, and off you rush
And when you awake to find you're on your own once more

Doesn't take too long to realise what we're all living for
Someone real in this world is far too hard to find
But it's what we're all searching for at the back of our mind

You know that kiss you last gave me sent me crazy
And ever since, I haven't been acting the same lately
Still haven't seen your face for many weeks
But I'm still trying to claim your heart for keeps
If you wanna repeat, then just tell me when
Cause I won't feel right until we meet again
I know you're never gonna tell me when
But I won't feel right until we meet again

Honor: If this is your last album, you ladies really went out with a bang ;) I won't attempt the 'make a scene' joke, anyway, definitley one of my favorite albums from you girls and hasn't failed my feet yet.

OOC: I did not realise you had finished this album thread :O Anyway, read through it all this afternoon, and it looks brilliant as always. Your lyrics always make the rest of us look useless :p Amazing work on everything as always - it all looks brilliant.

Mark: Applause! This is like, properly marvelous. People sometimes don't appreciate art as pop, but if anyone ever needed any evidence that it is, they just need to check this album out. Soul to Sell is my favourite ;) Nah in all seriousness, the whole album is tremendous, and I think High Class is also the high light - you girls and Stephanie sound perfect together. Anyway, it was an honor to work with you guys, and I love the final product - really brilliant work as always.

Kimberly: MARK RULES.

Nadia: Thanks, sweetie! Was an honour working with you and getting to know you as a person during the making of "Soul to Sell", and just for that, it's become a favourite of mine. No reason at all. ;)

Chantal: Hey, this new guy of Nadia's isn't so bad after all. Kidding, kidding, calm down.

Stephanie Fierce: Amazing album! Great to be part of it! The longevity of this group is just incredible alone, very inspiring to a lot of people. Nowadays girl groups can't even come together to make a single, yet you guys keep coming back hit after it with albums. I remember the days that people didn't even respect pop groups and you guys have come a long way to prove those people wrong. You have been a huge part of my career, since me opening for you on your world tour to where I am now! I will always respect and love each and everyone of you!

OOC: Amazing job with this album Stacy! :)

Their ninth studio album is out now in stores, please welcome iconic girl group... GirlSpice!

If I'm not mistaken, this is your first interview as a five-piece in a while, right?

Kimberly: Yeah, man. It's totally exciting, it's been such a long time since the last record, so we're really making the most of this time now. It's awesome.

Nadia: I feel like a bad parent, because I've been busy with my own tour, so I haven't been able to take part in some of the stuff the girls have done while I've been away. I felt like I was neglecting them all. (pulls a sad face)

Sophia: Awww!

Chantal: I just feel sorry for your other guests, because it can get a little crazy backstage with the five of us.

Sophia: We totally make a scene, babes! Hehe! ... Our new album!

Yes, we'll come onto that now. What took you ladies so long to release this new album?

Chantal: Well, Jimmy. I know no one would know if they didn't already, but I was busy having a child!

Kimberly: LOOK AT HER BLOWING HER OWN TRUMPET.

(Nadia bursts into laughter)

Chantal: Hey, I worked hard to get this figure back, thank you very much.

Kimberly: What to the ever.

Sophia: Sooo silly! But Jimmy! We've been like... totes busy, babes. Like, I had my own album, which was soooooo much fun! Like, wow! And then Chantal was having a little baby boy! Awwww! And Nadia was busy being famous! And Kimberly... well, I don't know about that one, babes.

Kimberly: Partying is a full-time job, FYI.

Sophia: Jimmy, have you seen my unicorn? Soooooo cute, right?

Jimmy stares blankly, before breaking out into laughter with the audience.

There's never a dull moment with you girls, is there?

Sophia: Super cute! Hehe!

Nadia: It's definitely because we don't see each other often enough, so when we get back together to do promo, it's just this burst of energy. Trust me, if we had to do this everyday, we'd be at each others throats. (laughs)

Chantal: Pretty much.

So, Nadia and Sophia, I know you both went onto do your own music. Kimberly and Chantal, would you ever release an album of your own?

Kimberly: I don't think that's for me, really. Being with the girls is where I'm most comfortable. Some people just don't have that desire to go solo, and that's me, basically.

Chantal: What she said. I know there's a huge demand for an album of my own, but yeah... sorry, guys.

Nadia: What makes you think there's huge demand, sweetie?

Chantal gives her an evil look as the audience and Jimmy laugh.

Nadia, I understand you're working on a new album. What about you, Sophia?

Sophia: Not like... right now, Jimmy babes! But defo a new album will be made at some point, the first did like... sooooo much better than I was expecting! So yeah! Hehe! Fun times!

Back to you girls as a group, when can we expect you girls out on the road again?

Nadia: We're not touring the new album because of other commitments that we all have, we don't really have that amount of free time. But we're definitely looking to do some festivals, so hopefully you guys can catch us at one.

Your new album, which I've actually heard, is an excellent club album. But it's got a few odd ones on there, how did that Blood of Wecz collaboration come about?

Kimberly: Well, me and Nadia especially have always been big fans of the guys, and we were brainstorming ideas for the album and who we could get to feature on it. So I just came up with the guys there and then, and we all wanted it to happen. Nadia's friends with Scott, so we thought it'd be best if she asked if they'd be interested, and they were. Fangirl mode was later activated on my behalf. (laughs) They're like, the best band ever, duh.

Nadia: I can be very persuasive when I want to be. (winks)

And you worked with Stephanie Fierce on a big hit that's topped the charts for two weeks, what was it like to work with her?

Sophia: Stephanie! Babes! We love you!

Chantal: We've worked with Stephanie in the past, she's just a really talented girl. Like, there's so many talentless people out there, but she really shines through them, it's why she's been around for so long.

Nadia: Stephanie's a total pro, she knows what she's doing and so do we, so we were able to make just a great pop track and go crazy with it. We've loved her from day one and have always supported her, she actually opened for us on a past tour of ours, so it's funny to see how far she's come. We'll always be supporting talent like her, she's great.

You girls have been in the industry for such a long time now, what do you think is the secret to your longevity? Especially with girl groups, you constantly see them come and go, right?

Chantal: Definitely, which isn't any fun for us! Cause like, who doesn't want a bit of competition to put to shame? GirlSpice as a group have always taken risks, we've always done daring stuff and changed it up with each record, so I think that's the key to success. Just keep it fresh. Don't be boring, don't be stale, don't embarrass yourselves.

Nadia: I think trust and a strong friendship is really important too, like, you couldn't be in a group with four other people you despise, you know? It doesn't work, it comes across as fake when you pretend you're best friends on stage, people see through that.

As a group, is there anything that you still want to achieve?

Kimberly: Daaamn, that's a hard one! What about winning Best Album at the Chaos Awards or something? That'd be rad.

Sophia: Or having our own brand of candyfloss, babes! Or like... water!

Chantal: Water?

Sophia: Water's good when you're thirsty, Chantal. Gosh!

Nadia: You couldn't have thought of something like, I don't know, our faces on a Pepsi can?

Sophia: Stephanie Fierce already did that! We're original! Hehe!

(Chantal rests her head in the palm of her hand, the crowd and Jimmy laughing once more)

A pleasure as always, girls. Thank you!
