As they Kanye West and 50 Cent thing, which I believe was three years ago or so, I proclaim that this is all utter bullshit and if the Bards 'lose' this sales war against the Rockers they will disappear for a while, then I'd a year later they'll be 'hey! we're back!' and never speak of the incident again."

Miss Vanity: You guys can do whatever you want but I really don't agree with this... what happened to making music for the love of it, what about the fans? Instead, you're coming about it as just a big popularity contest and are completely being over dramatic about it all. There's room for more than one band in the industry y'know...

Our entire career, 20 albums and over 50 singles have been for the fans. We as a band, just want to settle a dispute with The Rockers. A dispute that simply says we are better.

I think this sort of thing can make music better. It drives you to work harder and if it lets us see these guys weeping in the rain puddles in the bronx...all the more reason to prove we are the best at what we do and these guys are just wannabes. We've already retired and have now returned to prove that we are the best around and nobody will ever take our place. So to me, the cause is just. ;)

Prism Song
Give me a chance now
give me a dance now
among the solar trees

You cannot have this
you cannot have this
no.

Let the sun flares burn my heart
let the sun flares burn my heart
attack the neon hearts.

You cannot have this
you cannot have this
no.

So let me swim in the rivers of Neptune
let me climb the mountains of mars
let me go.

Free the breath of life from the mind
keep the prism clean
let it shine

Give me a chance
You cannot have this.
Let me go.

The shattered prism will spill light
the indians will gallop to the right
all the bodies will seize to fight

In the prism we will find
in the prism we will die
in the prism we will try

Hey fans!
Well it's true. We have experienced some technical difficulties on our newest song, "Darker Moon". The reason that we did is because we are doing something innovative! We are taking our vocals tracks and synching them by notes to our lead guitar. We also invented a new drum kit that provides a wide range of naturalistic sounds that will mesh together with he vocal-guitar and space synth.

The space synth is this new synth we invented. Get this! we actually got permission from NASA last year to set up a recording device on a satellite that they launched. The satellite relayed the cosmic noise into a computer program and we have edited to match musical notes and what not.

But all this technology has really screwed up our studio computers. We pretty much are on standby for the next 24/7 hours. Gonna be behind schedule. Wish us luck!

Inside Look On The Bards declining Sales.

The Bards have stated multiple times that they will lay down their instruments and retire. These rock "legends" as some call them, have only recently proven that they still matter. Statics show on their album sales that The Bards have only in the past decade shown that they really are important. Though the album sales still make the charts, in the Bards world, the sales have gone down.

Lets start from their first #1 album, Neptune's Nemesis. The album spiked the charts and sold over 4,334 million units. Then lets move onto The Coronation, The Bards best album both statics wise and music wise. The album sold over 4,511 million units.

Then we have The Bards In The Fields, duo-logy. Fields Of Tomorrow only sold 4,449 million and Fields Of The Past only sold 4,480 million units. Fields Of Tomorrow proved to be the greater charter of the two. Reaching #2 in the world, where as Past only reached #5.

Then The Bards do a collab album called ALLIES which sells well into the 4,500 mark. But thats thanks to the large fanbase of the other bands. The Bards then released Electric Highway which dramatically dropped to 4,450 units sold.

Now The Bards have Lost Kings Highway to even up the even slope. Lost Kings Highway II sold into the 4,500 + units sold. But missed the #1 spot across the globe. But the most recent release ALLIES II has slowed down to a mere 4,401 units with a poor 31K+ sold this week.

Is this evidence that The Bards are uneven with music? Should The Bards have called it quits with The Coronation which is in the top 250 best albums of all time. With this risky battle against The Rockers, The Bards need a christmas miracle to steady their wild and uneven sales and chart positions.

And now the winner of this epic album war is......

NOBODY!

This "war" was meant for charity!! Together The Rockers and The Bards will donate to charities around the world!

"Boy did we really rile up some heat! Everything we said about The Rockers was just part of the act. We love them. No. We idolize them! They are true legends of music. We would like to remind the people that The Bards are not *ssholes! We just want to help in all ways. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!

Much Love,

"I think we took everyone for a ride and it has certainly been interesting watching the response and knowing that it was all just to build hype for the charity. Sales of both albums will be going to charities around the world. The Bards have been great to poke fun at and I am sure they had their share of fun. I hope nobodies too angry but it has been fun. Merry Christmas to everyone who came out for the show.

Keep Rocking,

th
Dear fans and friends,

We have been rocking for over 30 years! Can you believe that!? We can't. Through these epic years we have recorded 21 albums, and over 50 singles. We were blessed to grace the top 250 albums of all time, and we are blessed to be on the top 50 bands of all time. Those are just stats. What we are really thankful for is YOU! The fans who supported us and drove us to the creative edge and beyond. It was you who spawned our wide range of music. Neptunes Nemesis is yours. We are your forever servants!

Being in the music industry for so long we have been through heaven and hell. We lost so many great friends like T.Tome, Jack Fate, and Marc Rolan. But we gained new friends and experiences. Our constant drive to produce the best music possible was move to match the constant change of the industry and to ease our creative mind. And with our 21st release, The Love Machine, we believe that we have finally fulfilled that drive. For an undisclosed and unknown amount of time, we, The Bards have officially retired.

As I wrote this, the band is already enjoying their retirement. Moe Z is with his son and wife somewhere in Mexico. Jax is surely lounging in some hot water spring in europe, and I'm in my LA studio prepping the start of my label, Dark Moon Records. yes, the band had trouble finding an end to an end. It hurts us to say goodbye, usually in cases like this a band will embark on a epic farewell tour but a tour is just an excuse not to retire. So we decided that after the release of Love Machine, we would go softly unto the night. To our beloved fans that kept us going. We love you. To our fellow musicians, The Rockers, 4th Street Band, and Enoch just to name a couple, we love you!

-With love
