Scott smiles when Gia says she loves Sophie. It made him feel fantastic to know that she was trying to make a go of things as a family. He nods. "Yeah she really is a great girl, I've never known a single person on earth as happy as Sophie."

Scott blinks and opens his eyes with a yawn and a stretch on Christmas Day. He stretches again and smiles when he realises what day it is, knowing how excited Sophie and Bailey are going to be when they get to open presents. It never failed to make him delightedly happy to see his two girls smile and he was sure they would today.
He rolled over after a few minutes to where Gia was laid and smiled as he looked at her, still asleep. It meant a lot to him that she was trying, and in the past few days they had felt a lot like a family again. He smiled at her before moving closer and gently holding his sleeping wife in his arms, kissing her on the head. |
