Scott throws his phone down and stands with his hands on the counter. He turns to Layla.
Scott: Well....marvellous huh? Looks like your friend is about to break up with me. Best part is I have to go to where she is to hear her do it. Fantastic!
He storms out of the room, puts his converse on and calls a cab to take him to Gia, leaving the house. |

Layla looks confused.
Gia sits there with her face covered by her hands. She looks pissed and upset. Bryan sits next to her with his hand on her leg. She keeps moving it but he puts it back.

Scott arrives and gets out the cab. He walks in and sees Gia with....him. His heart sinks and he hears the quiver in his voice as he speaks to Gia, calmly.

Scott didn't even look up at Bryan. He just squeezed the necklace tight in his hand and looked down at the guitar pick...remembering the night he proclaimed his love for Gia to over 100,000 people in Barcelona. A tear dropped onto the pick and he stuffed it and the key into his pocket. He watched them leave and broke down.
Running from the building, Scott hailed a cab...just managing to tell the driver his address, he sat in the back and sobbed loudly. He had it all....and now those two had ripped it from him. |

Gia was silent the whole way to Bryan's house. She didn't stare out the window, she didn't look down, she just stared straight ahead without any noise. She had just been ripped away from everything. How could she let this happen?
Bryan: You know, did I ever tell you the story of a girl who murdered someone? Oh yes, she did it all with a gun, shot him through the head in fact. Her boyfriend was there too. I could not believe who it was. I think you'll find that my company isn't so bad after all. If only you had accepted our date before.
He grins and shrugs.
Gia keeps staring while tears are streaming down her face. Her hands are shaking a little because of how upset she is. She couldn't picture herself without Scott being there anymore. Had she really lost him forever?
Gia: I hope you drop dead, I really do. |

The cab stopped and Scott threw some money to the driver. It might have been 10 dollars, it might have been 10,000...he didn't have a clue. Nor did he care. He walked into "his" house....except he knew now that this would never be his home now....not witho-....no...he couldn't even think it. He walked up and unlocked the front door, and walked to where Layla was.
Scott: You have a half hour, because that's all it'll take me to pack my stuff. Take everything of hers you can....and when I'm ready to go, you leave whatever isn't ready. |
