Burnout
Release date: 1th March 2011
Genre: Rock, rock n' roll
Producer: Ronny Rocken
Record Label: Outhouse Records

News of the day
: Most tracks ready. Waiting for cover art and Erich to arrive.
Gonna have a snowball fight with the Roadmasters down the route.

Team Ronny: Ronny Rocken - Driver. Big Bobby - Thrower. Car - An old Volvo.
Team Roadmasters: Errol Jonsson - Driver. Edwardo Lombardi & Melwin Ekblom - Throwers. Car - A just as old Saab.

It was in the good old days, when a man was a man, a woman was a woman and a cow was more than a red shaded piece, wrapped in plastic that you could find in the stores.
In those days, the skies were blue and came in all shapes and sizes. That was a very confusing time, so someone finally decided that we should only have one sky, so we didn’t have to spend the first 3 hours of the morning by trying to decide what kind of sky we should have that day.
And the grass was green on both sides. Those were the days when a tiny child called Vincent was born. But Vincent had a fairly boring life, so we’re not gonna talk about him. Instead we’re gonna talk about his brother, Louise, who was a lot more interesting. Because no one could see anything special about this kid and the papers were at him all the time cause of that. “There’s nothing special about Louise” they wrote. It was very exciting for a while. And when the excitement died out, the papers wrote “there’s still nothing special about Louise”, and suddenly he was the centre of the attention again.
Louise himself was really annoyed at this. Cause he really wanted to be special. But how could he be special if the papers always told people that he wasn’t special. Yes, at this time, reading wasn’t a common skill among the people. So the papers had to tell them people what was written in them instead. Something schools all over the world fought and finally won against. Cause what were they supposed to teach if people didn’t have to read.

Ronny Rocken & the Roadmasters are almost ready to release their 3th album, called Burnout. It’s expected to hit the shelves by the end of February and contains, apparently not so popular, singles like Freedom (no more), other hits like The king is back, Like a ZZ Top do and a lot of other new songs. Already you can get a taste of the tracklist here below.

1. We gonna BUUURN!!!
2. Step on it
3. Honey I don’t want your money (I just want your car)
4. Hurray hurray for USA
5. Freedom no more
6.
7. The king is back
8. Like a ZZ Top do
9. Willie the Cadillac
10.

Keep your eyes and ears toned for some good old rock n' roll and you'll know there's been another update.

We arrived about 11:30am that day. A slight delay, but who would expect to find a record studio in the middle of nowhere? And I guess you have to see it before you really believe it. It really is at an old farm where we find one of our newest acts within the scene of rock n’ roll. And it suits Ronny Rocken just fine.
“Out here I can do just whatever I want. I don’t have any neighbors who complain and tell me what I can and can’t do. For me, that’s freedom and I need freedom.” He explains for us while she shows the way to Outhouse Studio. The centre of Outhouse Records.
“It all started in an outhouse I have here. But since the equipment grew, we had to move it to a larger place. But we kept the name.” And moving it to a larger place means moving it to the barn. That’s what it looks like on the outside at least, except for the large sign that welcomes us to Outhouse Records. On the inside on the other hand…. first we’ve showed to the relaxion area. Or Ronny’s own bar. A place made up by whatever he seems to have found lying around. All kind of things like the cart wheels that are chained to the roof and now serve to hold the lights instead, to the posters that’s doubtful if they’re bought or stolen from the walls outside gigs he apparently liked.
“I often come here to write, think or have a glass with my friends. It got its own atmosphere and a good selection of refreshments.” And there are refreshments. After a whiskey, beer and something mixed up that only god knows what it was, Ronny’s warm enough to show us the studio. Here’s where the magic is made and here we find all kind of equipment. And a large storage of instruments that Ronny have gathered. Stuff you wouldn’t even imagine a rock artist to ever touch.
But we doesn’t get to see any ‘normal’ names in the studio. Instead we’re introduced to things like ‘the asshole’, ‘slim Jim’, 'pussy 1 and 2'. You get the picture.
“It’s not really important for me what everything is called. As long as I know what it does, what’s the difference? Slim Jim goes into the Asshole and this and that works.” Ronny Explains and gives us a demonstration.
Outhouse Record, where Ronny have released all his music since the Madman, has its story and Ronny is more than happy to sit down and tell about it.
“I was looking for a label once. We tried to get in touch with some place. Something run by, was it the Bards? But we were ignored back then. Too bad. They lost a #5 album.” Ronny chuckles and waves it off before he continues. “Outhouse Records was meant to be a real record company. You see, we wanted to make music that we liked. That was our focus. But when we began to look around, we run into announcements like, Do you wanna get famous? For you who wants to become a star only, and all that stuff. Sure, that’s fun too. But it wasn’t what we wanted to have in focus. So we made Outhouse Records as a choice for the people who wanted to focus on their music rather than how much money they make. After all, there is an industry outside of the mainsteam one too.”
But so far, there’s no rush to this studio. “We haven’t really tried to advertise ourselves. I doubt a lot of people know of us in first place and right now we’re trying to focus on our next album, so we can get it out by the end of the week. We’ll see if things get any better after that.”
By that time, Big Bob have joined us to let us know that Errol and Edwardo are on their way. It’s time to get back into the studio again and for us to let the Roadmasters finish their third album.

It's true. the album is planned to be released by the end of the month/beginning of the next month. Some last minute guests are welcome. So if you're interested of doing some RRR (Real Raw Rock), just leave us a call.

Erich: if there is anyone i can picture sitting in an outhouse, trousers round ankles, and playing a guitar, it's ronald k rocken.

Karoliena: "ronald k rocken"?

Erich: what? He just seems like he would have k for a middle initial.

Karoliena: whats the k stand for?

Erich:kjackson. The k is silent.

Karoliena: you're so k-stupid.

Ronny: I think K might be for everybodys opinion. In my case, I see it as "King". And Erich, can I get you down to the studio this weekend. I've got a very special instrument that someone has to play for this album, if you're interested.

Late last night, two cars were pulled over by the side of the road after a report to the police office. A decapitated Volvo and a saab that had gone through the same treatment, to apparently give the inhabitants a better “aim” at each other. Inhabitants consisted of the 5 members who build Ronny Rocken & the Roadmasters and two backseats filled with snowballs. Apparently the men had decided that run down the highway and throw snowballs at each other to get the other off the road was the best way to spend a Friday night. Lucky enough, the cars didn’t manage to cause any harm before they were pulled over and taken to the station.

What the consequences of this behavior have been is for us unknown. But the band was released this morning, sober once more and ready to get back to the studio again.
