Welcome to the offical Party Wounds website, this will be the place in which you will find all information from directly from the band members themselves who run the website by themselves. The only reason the majority of people will go on here for the next few months is because we got announced as one of the support acts from the Into Oblivion Tour supporting The Verdict Is Vengeance, hopefully we will gain a slight increase in our fanbase during the overseas shows. We are currently in the writing process for our first offical EP (not a demo EP), titled The Razor Teeth EP, we'll give you a free song or somethin' nearer the time, but until then you're just going to have to try and find the older demo's on either youtube or possibly eBay. That's all for now folks, hopefully we'll be bringing you some very good news within the next few weeks.

Hey guys, if you haven't checked out TheUnderground.com, then do it! We have had an interview asking some basic questions about us, it could contain some random information that you weren't aware of. Recording for The Razor Teeth EP will start tomorrow, as we are hoping to have it released and ready for people to buy when we tour with The Verdict Is Vengeance in roughly a month. Anyone got tickets? Please do your best to get to the shows early and check us out, it'll mean the world to us. We will release the tracklist for The Razor Teeth EP within the next few days!

After a week in the studio we have got all the tracks we want on the EP sorted, and have finished all the work on the drums, guitars and bass. We will be spending the next week or so sorting out the keyboard loops and samples, and the vocals which shouldn't take us the whole week, but we can't be to sure right now. The tracklist is going to be listed under this post, and a free track will be released before we leave for tour. We are in talks with playing a few headlining shows after our tour with The Verdict Is Vengeance although this will depend on many factors, we hope it all works out though!

So did anyone check us out at The Underground LIVE, tonight (well last night, but ya know) It was an awesome first gig of the year for us (the setlist will be listed at the bottom of the post), and a great warm up to the tour with The Verdict Is Vengeance in a few days. Who else is a hyped for the tour as we are?! It's gunna be fucking awesome, playing with so many sick bands for roughly a month across the UK and Europe. Recording for The Razor Teeth EP has been finished, although the tracks are currently in the mixing process so we will not be releasing the EP before we leave for tour, but there is a small chance of us having it ready for the European leg of the tour. On sunday we will put up the song Ideas Of Youth for a free download, anyone who saw us last night would have heard it already. Check again soon.

Ideas Of Youth - Free download!

OOC:
Bold = screamed vocals [Eva]
Italic = screamed vocals [James]

The song starts with a simple and distorted metal guitar riff, matched with a typical metal drum beat and a high pitched and Halloween sounding keyboard loop in the background of the song, which continues through the song there is a short keyboard and clean vocal interlude in which Eva Smith sings in a very soft tone of voice, before a brief change in the style of the remaining part of the song, with the keyboard loop becoming more dominant before the outro which features a long held scream from Eva Smith.

Smash up all events
Wide with ideas of youth
Tasteless movers and shakers and candlestick makers

I've watched from afar
and I've led demonstrations
of faint heart believers
and the death from tonight

Why did you want to learn?
A scale of notes that could drown out the world

Or put off what's been on your mind?
Forever is just way of forgetting

What could you want to learn?
A scale of notes that could drown out the sea

Or put off what's been on your mind?
Forever is just way of forgetting

Our sense of adventure only ever outweighed by these perfectly scripted desires
Such horror, mischief and desperate decadence, tall tales from the lips of liars
But when that beat drops, beat drops, beat drops, beat drops
Well I'm back to where I was before
I've been low, low, as low as I can go
But when I feel it, I'll still hit the floor

Bring us, the war
Bring us, the war
Bring us, the war
Bring us…

Over the stars
With scars, scabs and everything in between

How can this be?
Jaded but serene

Without the stars
Scars, scabs and everything in between

How can this be?
Jaded but serene

You're putting this band on the inactive list already? I actually kinda like this band, if there was a Top New Bands of 2011 list this band would be around the top.

They aren't really inactive, I'm just not going to be RPing with them until Mid-March, then I'll be releasing the song details of their EP and starting to use them properly as I'm planning on putting The Verdict Is Vengeance into a hiatus soon. I'll be sure to focus on this band a lot more after that. Thanks for compliment by the way, I will not disappoint when I release the RP based around the band!

Long time no update! Sorry about that, since we've been on tour/in the studio for the past month we haven't had the time for updates/the internet connection to be able to an update that is worth your time. We've done a lot over the past month, we've played our first UK tour in support of The Verdict Is Vengeance and we are currently in Europe touring with them still. The crowds across Europe and the UK have been brilliant, and it's given us a real confidence booster seeing people wearing our t-shirts, and singing along to our songs. We've finally got the artwork for the Razor Teeth EP, and the EP is in it's final stages of mixing! The release date has been set as March 19th, although this is subject to change. Once the EP is released we'll be working towards our first full length album, and maybe working with some other musicans, depending on how well Razor Teeth goes down.
