It's been a minute since we have last heard from pop-superstar Sasha. Her upcoming album was suppossed to be released in December of last year, but was pushed back an early 2011 release. But there is some good new about the album. We can confirm that Sasha's third studio album will be released on April 19, 2011. The album will be titled Celebration of A Rebirth. Sasha will release her first single of her third album next week on March 15, 2011. The single has a very heavy rock influence with a twist of pop. Sasha has switched it up on the album micing different genres together (hence) the album title."The title Celebration of A Rebirth" comes from me feeling like a new individual. I feel like I have control for once and everything is in control. I will not be forced to do anything that I won't do. And I am living life on my own terms. Im really having a good time and enjoying myself. Im not going to let anyone ruin it. And I know once my fans hear the album they will love it and it will bring me a even larger audience.-SASHASasha produced and wrote the entire album herself. The album only has one collaboration. The song is called "Break The Silence" and it is a collabo with Hip-Hop star Matty. The track is very sexy and it is vey pop/electronic and R&B at the same time." I think Matty brings the R&B to the song. R&B is something I wanted to try and there are a couple of songs on the album that can actually be considered R&B. But I can get into song titles as of yet. But you will be hearing about that very soon.
-SASHASasha's first single off Celebration of A Rebirth will be 7 Days A Week. The single is a break up song and it is very personal to Sasha. The song is basically about a couple who argues 7 days out of the week and they have reached a crossroads in their relationship, were either they are going to try and work it out or its over. "The song 7 Days A Week" came from alot of emotions I had previously dealt with in my past relationship. It is like we wake up in the morning just to argue. And the track can kind make you wonder, Hmmmm maybe it is my fault that our relationship didn't last. It is like me kind of blaming myself for the end of the relationship. I think it will effect many people because there are so many couples out there who go through these problems.
