Jerry Holmes; Well 'Going On' has fallen off the chart and after a 5 week run with a peak of #6, we are now moving on to a different song that has yet to be released, now with "Going On' now off the chart the single could be released the same time as the album, but you never know what could happen :) Thank you to all of the fans out there who supported us and made 'Going On' a top 10 hit. We thank you for all of that :) |

Dennis Shaw Interview With Cooper Fox
Fox: Hello everyone, we are back! You just heard I Found Out (Finding Out Is The Best Part) by Big Light Show, and before that it was Killer In Disguise by Desiree Shapiro. Now another new face in the music scence.. Dennis Shaw!!
Dennis: Hello, thank you for having me on the show.
Fox: Now Dennis, how is the album coming along?
Dennis: It's great! Wanting To Be is coming along great!! We will definaltly be able to make our April 9th release date!!
Fox: How do you enjoy the music industry Dennis?
Dennis: It's just so much fun getting to work with these guys and getting to make music for a living. If you told me six months ago that I would be reocrding an album and have a top ten hit, I would call you crazy.
Fox: So I'm guessing you life has changed a lot recently?
Dennis: Are you kidding me? I don't even know where to begin, it's so amazing how everything has just changed so quickyl for me. I mean recently I was living on a farm pinching my pennies to afford a plan ride out here!!
Fox: I see, now what was your reaction when you found out that TheStatNerds first single 'Going On' charted #6 on the airplay charts?
Dennis: To be honest, i almost cried. It's just so amazing to me that a song I wrote made the top ten of the airplay charts, one of the most famous charts in the world. It just blows my mind, and I guess this really is a small world after all.
Fox: Now Dennis, time to shift over to some details of your personal life. Is there a special girl out there your interested in?
Dennis: Yes there is this girl I have had my eye on, but I doubt anything will result of it.
Fox: Well just ask her out Dennis, you never know what would happen.
Dennis: Well I would just like to focus on my music right now, I don't want to play the dating game right now.
Fox: Oh okay then...well do you have an iPod Dennis?
Dennis: Yes I recently got one, and I'm still trying to figure out how it all works but I have one.
Fox: Well who's music do you have on it?
Dennis: Well I have MattY, but then who doesn't have MattY on their iPod? Then I also have Cherise and Suburban Sunrise. Then I have the singles of new artists Mykaylah, Summerside Session, Dan Richards, Big Light Show, Lucifer and Desiree Shapiro
Fox: Okay Dennis, just one more question and then I'll let you go. What's your current favorite song on the charts right now?
Dennis: It would have to be Forget Me Tomorrow by Summerside Session
Fox: Well you heard it folks, we will now play Dennis' favorite song 'Forget Me Tomorrow' by Summerside Sessions!!

Hey everyone. Tomorrow the finishing touches of the album are starting to happen. It's so exciting! I can't wait since its just less than a month until the album is released. Oh and based on how things go; the website for 'Wanting to Be' could be launched earlier than March 22nd!! It's just so amazing to me about how fast eberything can happen!! I just wanted to say thanks to anyone who is a fan of TheStatNerds!!! |

Performance on Ellen
The quick performance starts out with the four boys coming out in all black tuexdo's. Then Christopher Hudson grabs a microphone and says 'This is a special treat for the fans.' The four boys then come sit down stools, then two men in all white tuexdo's come out with accoustic guitars. The two men then play a light-hearted tune. Dennis Shaw then starts softly singing, 'Going on and on and on and on.' Then it becomes clear to the fans that this is going to be an accousic version of 'Going On'. The boys then all sing together. They show the true talent behind their voices that isn't normally heard since auto-tune is added to the recorded versions. The song end on a real soft, held out note of 'I'm just going on' by Jerry Holmes. The audience then gives the boys their applause, although a couple people are drifting off due to the slowness of the song. Then a real loud, familiar beat and the boys jump up off their stools. Christopher Hudson shouts into his microphone: 'Everyone on your feet now!' Then the well known, top ten hit version of 'Going On' starts up. The boys obvoisly have fun with this one. As they are dancing and jumping about through the crowd and on stage. Dennis Shaw goes through and dances with people in the audience. While Christopher Hudson quickly signs autographs. When the song ends the four boys are in the cener of the Ellen stage, Dennis Shaw shouts out: 'Thank you everyone!! Remember 'Wanting To Be' is going to be released April 9th!!' Then the four boys walk off the stage. |
