This is the album art that was released on Vendetta's website early this morning. The image on it hints at a dark theme, showing zombies. When asked about this, lead singer Jay Smith replied with,
"Dark...? I wouldn't exactly say that. It's supposed to be eye opening. It's mostly about how with everything that's going on with the world, media, technology, all that, we've become like Zombies. When it comes to the release details, all we can say now is that we're hoping for an April release. We've been collaborating and recording for a while, plus we have to deal with Mike's drug problems. Still, we hope not to let the fans down."
Curious for more information, we moved on to the next founding member of Vendetta, Dakota Smith. We questioned him about the sound of the album, hoping to squeeze out as much information as possible.
"We're going for a hardcore sound, but we're clinging to our roots, metalcore. There will be some screaming, some breakdowns, and some emotional moments on the album. We do hope to break some new ground with The Infection. It's our debut, and we want it to put us up there. People need real music."
So, that's it for our review of the mysterious album art. We hope you will check out Vendetta's new album when it comes out in /hopefully/ April.
