Cherise: What an amazing night at G.A.Y was so good to see so many people singing along to 'Redlight' I'm so pleased with the performance i hope you all enjoyed it was such a buzz and always a pleasure to be back there, and if you was there you got a treat with exclusive performances of 'Bottled Up' and 'Hungry'N'Horny' first time I've performed either of them anywhere and they seemed to go down very well. Cherise Interview and performance on This Morning 28th Feb 2011  Phllip: We're now joined by one of the rising stars in todays music world, already notched up a top ten UK single with 'Pyramid' which reached number one on airplay alone, she's now back with her second offering 'RedLight' off her upcoming debut album 'Destination Unknown' please welcome Cherise.
Holly: Cherise it's so nice to have you here on the couch
Cherise: Thank you for having me
Phillip: So tell us how's it all going?
Cherise: it's all going good, rolling along non stop at the moment pushing forward to the album release
Holly: Yes 'Destination Unknown' out in 2 weeks time are you nervous?
Cherise: Not really, it's an album I'm very proud of, its got some great stuff on there and hopefully the fans enjoy it thats the main thing
Phillip: So 'Redlight's released today
Cherise: Yes out cd today digital download yesterday
Phillip: Its been quite a raunchy second single what made it come around?
Cherise: Well celeste and I wrote the song around time 'Pyramid' was scheduled for release and I felt straight away it would be a hit and loved how different it was to 'Pyramid' in styles and contrast for myself so I wanted to get it out and released and decided it be great way to launch the album.
Holly: You've also got a tour coming up?
Cherise: yes my first headline tour just 12 venues to blow off the cobwebs, Millie Little supporting tickets still on sale kicks off march 25th I cant wait to get on the road and perform
Phllip: You're not a shy performing looking at previous appearences, Hall of Fame and Chaos awards
Cherise: those were such massive platforms for me both times launching a single I was honoured to be able to have that chance
Holly: Well you're going to be performing 'redlight' which I love a little later on ut for now thank you for joining us in the studio
Cherise: My pleasure

Cherise: Woah getting nervous bout sunday now and awaiting chart positions to come in, told everyone I don't want to hear any midweek info hard to stop myself getting it but I really don't want to know, on plus side though 'Redlight' hit #1 on clubcharts this week so thank you all you dj's and clubbers shaking your thing to my music xx |

Cherise: Hey guys I'm happy happy 2nd top 10 hit in a row 'Redlight' debuted at #9 following 'Pyramid's #6 also hit #55 in USA and #51 Europe so all good I'm now looking forward to album release and the tour I hope you all like it. I'm also pushing forward for MattY and I with 'Takin' Over' so extremely busy lately and non stop work work work which I love xx |
