OOC: Either way, you sure as hell have made a better entrance than most new RPers. It's always a bit annoying when someone comes in and says, "Hey, we're The Band and we'll be touring stadiums for the next 3 months. Who want's to open for us?". Glad to have a new person either way, good luck man. Oh yeah, and band website would be a good place to start.

OOC. I guess so, a low-profile entrance is better than an extremely high-profile one. And yes, it is annoying when people don't get that you have to fag for others before they fag for you, and that ingame scores don't change that, the forum's a whole different kettle of tea.
