After the destruction of Kirsty Studios,
Dark Blue Music management group has relocated, and have now made home of the out of use 'The Dorc' studios in Dorchester, the brainchild of Jack Lepelbos, sold to DBM's own Katie Kairiri. "I always kept them as a safety net," said the Duchess, "but kind of kept quiet about them." You can use the studios if you're working with any of The Dorc's producers, or if your wallet is the size of a small country.
When asked about building on the old site, Jimmy Bishop, owner of DBM, shook his head. "Loads of people have asked about it, being as Kirsty's was built on a graveyard anyway, but no. Not again. The Corpse Room, as it was called, is just a corpse room now."
Firecracker 47 have recently been right firecrackers, what with Mikki leaving. There is no news of a new drummer - various people have been tried out, but nobody seems to quite fit the bill. "Mikki's no fucking Nick Biggs or Kit Saunders, she's more like, erm - Cassie Summers," said guitarist Roxy Firecracker. "If you can't play, you'll fit in."
"Slight exaggeration there," says James Kairiri, F47's bassist. "We've been doing some work with Nick, and maybe we might go for a slightly more .... erm, advanced style of drumming. Roxy kind of dismisses anyone with any talent though, as if she wants to insult Mikki. Either that or she actually wants Cassie in the band."
Lead vocalist Joshy Firecracker simply shudders at the thought. As for Joshy's personal life, he's now with
Bikki (we knew it'd happen). "It's useful that the Bible says nothing about zombies!" said Joshy, who recently divorced Bri Kildare, a zombie over 1,500 years old. He seems to have a fetish for them. Sorry Cassie, you're just too alive for him.
Keeping in line with their usual laws of gravity,
Moronic Changeling have changed line-ups again! Alongside Kaethe Jenkins, Somerset Bissell, Nick Biggs and Jimmy Bishop will be two new band members. Former guitarist Lucas 'Comatose' Robbins has decided to leave the band. When asked why, he just shrugged. "My time as a Moronic's run its course. I'll be working as an assistant producer in The Dorc - that's where I started out, remember, I produced Rayne Berry's debut album - and I'll be working alongside Nick and Jimmy, so it can't exactly be hate."
Also continuing production work will be Mikki Moo. "Katie offered me the job, I'm still friends with her," said Mikki. "James I can deal with, he was actually quite pleased, said that I'm better behind the scenes. He said that while the job of 'Ryan Ross Hernandez's designer handbag' is unavailable, this is the next best thing. Oh ha ha."
As for the rest of DBM -
The Mind Bandits have split up naming no
Roxy reason, and
Machete has decided to pursue the exciting career avenue of sheep farming, so we won't hear any more from them. The sadly still musically active jailbait
Kamikaze Kate aka. Kathleen Bishop just got married. She and Jimmy ran off Javen-style to Vegas. "Kinda have to," said Kate, "though I was sober the whole time. Weird that your husband can drink and you can't, it's like, what the fuck, give me my wedding champagne!" Next year, Kate, marry someone your own age.
Expect music updates from Kate and Bikki soon, but the bands may still have some things to sort.

((OOC : Whoa, that took me a while. By the way, anyone who wants to take over the character of Lukey Comatose or Machete Blunt is welcome.))
