IT'S OPENING NIGHT!

It's opening night at London's sold-out Wembley Stadium, Daniel and Eric Quillington have just finished up their extraordinary opening sets and Vanity is set to take to the stage in roughly 20 minutes time.

Official write up coming tomorrow! Stay tuned...

OOC: For any opening acts, I don't expect a RP so don't worry about that if you haven't done one... but if you'd like to, that's also fine. :p

THE SUN REVIEW "WELCOME TO HELL" TOUR: PART 1
UserPostedImage

After a long wait for Vanity's tour comeback after her tragic downfall, Vanity took to the stage once again to kick off her tour at the sold out Wembley Stadium, accompanied by Daniel and Eric Quillington. Both openers put on an entertaining show to hype up the crowd, but nothing could prepare your eardrums for the screams you heard when the lights blacked out for Vanity to take to the stage for the first time of the night.

The show opened with Vanity's best selling and first ever #1 single "Lilith" - a haunting dark-pop song, equiped with sledge-hammering beats to kick the show off with a bang. She appeared on a raised platform which slowly moved down to the stage, stood alongside a crowd of dancers, Vanity seen wearing a strangely normal-looking white mini dress which featured angel-like wings on the back of it, along with white heels. She stepped off the platform with the dancers to begin the show and from then on - a wild night was in store for all as she belted out the first line from the song, before dancing her way furiously through the uptempo electronic-influenced track on the heaven-like foggy stage. However, she would soon welcome the audience to the main theme around the tour - "hell".

A video interlude introduced the audience to what was really to come next. Vanity was seen stood against a plain, white background in the video as blood slowly bursted out of her body to a trance-like instrumental. The video faded out as Vanity reappeared; red lights seen glowing on her, as well as the "Saw" neck-tie inspired trap now seen on stage. She placed the collar around her neck as "Nightmares" began, her voice singing the mid-tempo rock-influenced track in a soft, helpless way, stuttering some of the words to emphasise her fear of the situation as she looked to three victims caught in the trap with her. The aim of the trap in the actual movie is to free yourself by pulling forward on the cord which is attached to the collar around the victims neck, you must then break a glass box to obtain a key which unlocks yourself from the collar, the last one left is pulled back by the cable against a blade which beheads the victim. After a mix of both "Nightmares" and "Fantasy Killer", Vanity was seen as the last one to be freed; her cord is pulled back rapidly as the lights suddenly go out, the audience shocked. But what better to continue the show with top 5 hit "Decapitated" as the lights flashed on to see Vanity stood next to a replica of her own body based on after the trap, her replica covered in blood and her fake head seen on the floor; it's a little inappropriate to some of the younger fans seen in the audience, and sure to spark up fury in parents.

Vanity hurriedly leaves the stage after the gorey previous performance shown as her dancers break out into a sudden, fast-paced routine to an instrumental of "Kill Me Slowly". Vanity eventually re-appears sitting on a large, circular hoop, spinning around slowly in the air for the song, her dancers aim guns at her mid-song and fire, a gun shot is heard and the lights die once again. Once the lights come back on, Vanity begins singing "Devil in Disguise" straight from the chorus, her dancers lifting her up into the air for part of the routine before being lifted back down for a dance routine down the catwalk of the stage.

However, Vanity was soon back to the "Saw"-inspired traps for the next part of the show...

Part 2 soon!

"WELCOME TO HELL" TOUR WRITE UP: FULL
UserPostedImage

After a long wait for Vanity's tour comeback after her tragic downfall, Vanity took to the stage once again last night at the sold out Wembley Stadium, accompanied by Daniel and Eric Quillington. Both openers put on an entertaining show to hype up the crowd, but nothing could prepare your eardrums for the screams you heard when the lights blacked for Vanity to take to the stage for the first time of the night.

The show opens with Vanity's best selling and first ever #1 single "Lilith" - a haunting dark-pop song, equipped with sledge-hammering beats to kick the show off with a bang. She appears on a raised platform which slowly moves down to the stage, stood alongside a crowd of dancers, Vanity is seen wearing a strangely normal-looking white mini dress which features angel-like wings on the back of it, along with white heels. She steps off the platform with the dancers to begin the show and from then on - a wild night was in store for all as she belts out the first line from the song, before dancing her way furiously through the uptempo electronic-influenced track on the heaven-like foggy stage. However, she would soon welcome the audience to the main theme around the tour - "hell".

A video interlude introduced the audience to what was really to come next. Vanity seen stood against a plain, white background in the video, blood slowly bursting out of her body to a trance-like instrumental. The video fades out to meet Vanity's reappearance on stage; red lights seen glowing on her, as we see the "Saw" neck-tie inspired trap now on stage. She places the collar around her neck as "Nightmares" begins, her voice singing the mid-tempo rock-influenced track in a soft, helpless way, stuttering some of the words to emphasise her fear of the situation as she looks to the other three caught in the trap with fear. The aim of the trap in the actual movie is to free yourself by pulling forward on the cord which is attached to the collar around the victims neck, you must then break a glass box to obtain a key which unlocks yourself from the chain, the last one left is pulled back by the cable against a blade which beheads the victim. After a mix of both "Nightmares" and "Fantasy Killer", Vanity is seen as the last one to be freed; her cord is pulled back rapidly as the lights suddenly black out, audiences members shocked. But what better to continue the show with top 5 hit "Decapitated", the lights flash back on to see Vanity stood next to a replica of her own body based on after the trap, her replica covered in blood and her fake head seen on the floor; it's a little inappropriate to some of the younger fans seen in the audience, and sure to spark up fury in parents.

Another video interlude begins as we see a repeated image of Vanity downing a bottle of poison to a haunting instrumental. She soon appears back on stage wearing latex lingerie, a needle pit seen on stage with her, taken once again from a Saw Movie. She walks slowly towards it where a man stands on the edge, she passionately kisses him before he throws her in; "Cold Blooded Lover" begins as words such as "LOVE", "PAIN" AND "BETRAYAL" flash up on the screen. She sings the song fairly quietly as she puts in emphasis on the pain of having needles stick into her body as she crawls around, adding in screams between some lines. As she finds a key in the pit and holds it up - the lights quickly flash off as a deep, evil laugh is heard. When they flash back on, Vanity is seen lying in a pool of blood on stage as she crawls around on a collar, a masked man pulling her along on a lead, blood continuing to drip from her exposed body.

After a short video showing a parade featuring people of all different age, gender, race and sexual orientation; Vanity appears back on stage with a parade of her own as she sings a more upbeat version of "Equality" before speaking to the crowd. "Here is where equality is most important and here is where no one is judged. Here is where I'm at home with all of my wonderful fans... I fucking love you!" she shouts to the crowd, receiving a roaring response. The cheers bring her to tears as she wipes them away and raises her hand in the air before bowing slowly and then beginning to sing an acoustic version of track "Beat Me Down", an emotional song about her past troubles and previous experiences. She showcases her voice through the emotional track and belts out the notes with as much power as she can within her voice, the crowd applaud at the very last note as she smiles, looking out into the packed stadium. "Looking at all of you really does something to a girls ego" she giggles, "Top bitch right hereeeeeee!" she screams out as she goes onto perform acoustic versions of tracks "Losing Grip" and "Hostile", once again showcasing her powerful voice in both performances.

She leaves the stage for another video interlude to begin - showing quick shots of a blinking eye, Vanity locked up in chains, as well as what seems to be like her eating a brain. Blue lights suddenly flash on to show Vanity strapped into a chair on stage, wiring attached to her head as she's electrocuted from time to time throughout the song as she sings "Mind Control" in a harsh, lower-toned voice, screaming out with each electrocution. At the end of the performance, sparks fly out of the electrical equipment used on her and the lights change from blue to yellow, a group of dancers pull her out of the chair and begin to dance with her for the fun jazz-influenced track "I Am Human". She then cuts halfway through the song onto a cover of "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson, busting out her dance moves inspired by him as the audience cheer excitedly at the dance. She finishes up the act with "Blackout", putting on her famous firework bra for the performance as sparks fly out of her breasts during a full-on dance routine before the lights suddenly shut off.

Vanity reappears on stage after a video which shows Vanity rocking back and forth slowly in a dark room; representing a basement that she was locked in by her former manager. The simple performance of "Conversations with Myself" and "The Industry" show Vanity walking around the stage, belting out her vocals for the soft rock track and interacting with the crowd as she kneels down to touch their hands and holds her microphone out to them for the audience to sing along as she smiles. She then replicates her Hell Night Festival performance for "Slaughterhouse" as she dances throughout the performance before pretending to die, her outfit beginning to bleed as she grabs ahold of a rope that pulls her up above the stage as she hangs delicately.

The lights dim and the rope brings her back down, her dancers begin a dramatic and artistic dance to a chilling mid-tempo electronic beat whilst Vanity makes for a quick costume change. She soon reappears in a long white dress with studs over the shoulders, as well as blood splatters on the end of the dress. She sits at the piano and takes a minute before thanking the crowd once again for coming and for their support, before she breaks out into a heart-felt performance of songs "Emotionless" and "Tears" provided by a piano backing by her. The piano lifting up into the air for the performance whilst Vanity performs above the stage, the crowd glancing up at her and then applauding for the end of the two-song piano performance as she's lowered back down. She steps out of the lower-half of her dress as she wears her outfit now as a white leotard. Her dancers pose as models for "La Vanité", strutting down the catwalk in different outfits as Vanity sings at the front of the stage, moving to the beat of the track gently, thrusting her hips but not taking her attention off of the dancers too much. For next track "Little Miss Controversy", her dancers rip off their high-fashion costumes to expose their flesh-coloured outfits, beginning a vigorous dance routine with Vanity for the track; originally featuring Stephanie Fierce.

The end of the show finally arrives as the final video interlude of the night plays which shows Vanity describing her vision of God; a fearless, independent, brave being. The video then shows the word "Goddess" as Vanity appears dangling on wires above the stage as the wires move her above the crowd as she travels around the arena, making delicate movements with her body for the instrumental track; taken from her instrumental album The Sound of Hell. With no singing at all featured in the song, she purely focuses on the movement of her body as she flips in the air, as well as moving her body to the beat of the track. She's eventually taken back to the stage where a bright, yellow light is seen, as well as a landscape video featured on the screen on stage showing the sun; fitting to the final performance of "The Sun", an upbeat, euphoric track about freedom. A shower of sparks light up behind her for the end of the performance as she looks out into the crowd who chant her name and cheer wildly. She screams out her thank you's out the crowd and leaves the stage.
