 Download Festival at Donnington
You have my sympathy Appreciated but completely unrequired. I'm hardly going to be gutted about sitting in the sun, having a beer or 19 and listening to bands that bring back memories of school days (System of a Down for example). Download takes a bad rap because some of the headliners have been shit over the last few years, but it's as fun as any other festival, and there as still always plenty of amazing bands playing |

Download gets a bad rap from me because the bill is full of buy-ons that nobody has ever heard of, and because so many of the people in attendance are the very worst kind of close-minded rock/metal idiots (I remember the year I went people were bragging about beating up emos for being emos. Was fucking pitiful). And on top of everything else it's an utter rip-off. As far as UK fests go, Sonisphere does a much better job of booking the lower bill bands for me, and it's always going to be those bands that attract me to a fest much more than the headliners (especially when they are Aerosmith or Slipknot). |

Because I have an essay due, I am going to attempt one of these list thingys: Sum 41 Biffy Clyro Bowling For Soup Never Heard Of It! Ash Red Hot Chili Peppers Bowling For Soup Blink 182 HIM System Of A Down All That Remains Cathedral Trivium Chimaira Muse Biffy Clyro Foo Fighters Iron Maiden Trivium Lamb Of God Lamb Of God Lamb Of God Lamb of God (Correct, that was four nights in a row) My Chemical Romance Oasis 80s Matchbox B-line Disaster Still Remains Every Time I Die Trivium Children Of Bodom Lamb Of God Lamb Of God Machine Head Trivium Chimaira Metallica Dragonforce Five Finger Death Punch Misery Index Ignominious Incarceration Cannibal Corpse Trivium Lamb Of God Shadows Fall Muse Funeral For a Friend Death Cab For Cutie Feable Weiner Trivium Lamb of God DevilDriver Children Of Bodom Machine Head Alter Bridge Alter Bridge Velvet Revolver Twin Atlantic T in The Park (3 years) Download (2 years) Muse Bloc Party Five Finger Death Punch Unearth Ash Black Dahlia Murder Necropolis Bleed From Within Bleeding Through Bullet For My Valentine Coheed Dinosaur Pile-Up Editors Rachel Stevens (oh yeah! Went to see 30 Seconds To Mars, who were supported by Enter Shikari and Funeral Party last night I met Shikari before the gig, which made me pretty happy seeing as they are one of my favourite bands ever, and they seemed better than 30 Seconds To Mars, although they were both amazing. The last few concerts Ive been to have been pretty epic.
2/22-Saw my buds Anarbor play in my hometown(Yes they are my friends, and no im not lying)
1/28- 30 Seconds To Mars w/ Middle Class Rut(One of, if not the best live show Ive ever seen)
12/21- Saw Anarbor again(Holiday show, pretty chill)

Then the upcoming shows im going to are...

3/24- D.R.U.G.S, Black Viel Brides, I See Stars, VERSAEMERGE!, CONDITONS!(Only going for VE and Conditions. Not really into the other bands)
3/25- Im playing a benifit show for Make A Wish Foundation
3/31- Cartel w/ my friends The Inheritance
4/2- A Rocket To The Moon w/ Anarbor, Valencia, Runner Runner, and Go Radio
6/21- Panic! At the Disco w/ fun, and Funeral Party(Possibly the number 1 show im looking forward to! P!ATD is my favortie band and their new album is amazing!)

The reason I see Anarbor so much is 1: Cuz they are my buds, and 2: They get me in for free :P

My last few gigs;15/10/10 - We Are The Ocean w/ The Ghost Of A Thousand and Our Last Night
30/11/10 - 30 Seconds To Mars w/ Enter Shikari and Funeral Party
16/12/10 - You Me At Six w/ The Blackout, Set Your Goals and Canterbury (One of the most annoying gigs I've been too. I hated the crowd that was there)
05/02/11 - A Day To Remember w/ Bayside and Pierce The Veil

 Up-coming gigs;
30/04/11 - Bring Me The Horizon w/ The Devil Wears Prada, Parkway Drive and Architects (Would rather have Architects headline, but I think it's a brilliant line up regardless!)
29/05/11 - Slam Dunk Festival w/ We Are The Ocean, Deaf Havana, Tek-One, We Are The In Crowd, VersaEmerge, Dance Gavin Dance + more
11/06/11 - L.E.D Festival w/ Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Zane Lowe, Nero, Skrillex, Modstep + more (only going to this if my friend can get us press-passes, which is looking likely)
29/09/11 - A Skylit Drive w/ I Set My Friends On Fire, Woe Is Me and Sleeping with Sirens (not sure if I'm going to this, depends on if my friends can be bothered to go as we only really like the support acts)

All in all I'd say I've got some good gigs planned so far.
