He takes the book back from Scott and begins the chanting again.
Nate:
''Angels of Protection,
Angels who clear
Remove all spirits
Who don't belong here!''
He repeats until the spirits are gone.
Nate: They have left. |

Nate shushes Gia.
Nate: Do not speak. We must wait five minutes.
After five minutes pass, he looks in the glass to see that the pepper has moved away from Gia's fingers. Nate has a worried look on his face and is disappointed by the results.
Nate: Just as I feared. Looks like I shall be staying here tonight until tomorrow is over.
He takes Gia's fingers out of the water and sets it down on the table. He grabs out his phone to call and tell his parents that he will be spending the night with Gia and Scott. |
