 MattNicoleSuburban Sunrise. We haven't heard from you guys in over two months, people more than likely have forgotten who you are, forgotten your music, and I believe you were dropped from your label. The last we heard from you was Nicole's rampage at the Chaos awards. Nicole, can you explain what was going through your head and what you guys have been up too?
Well, ugh. Um well that night I was drunk off my ass and hated my life. Pretty much I was insanely sad over the whole thing with Katie and really just wanted to do something to get myself arrested so that I could get away from everything. Well Obviously nothing happened at the awards thing. After that, I was driving home with Matt and we got into a huge fight and he ended up kicking me out of his car, and told me to find my own way home. Well here I am, a drunk ass 19 year old walking the streets by myself. A cop came up to me and asked if I was alright and I attacked him... Ya I know me attacking someone? Im like 5 feet tall. But I punched him in the face a few times and then I got the shit tazered out of me. Matt bailed me out and then he told me to go get help. Alot of people dont know but I was rolling ALOT and so I went to rehab for a month, came out im completely clean of "X" and Matt and I talked and made up so we are friends again. But that night nothing was going through my head. I was hurt, sad, angry, and just wanted to die. But now I know that I found my right place and that I need to stop being such a bitch to everyone and start appreciating all the gifts Ive been given. I know that sounds chessie but ya.
Matt, what were you doing during all of this?
I was really just at home in San Diego, still making music. I would go and see Nicole almost everyday but since our music careers were put on hold money is very very tight so my phone had to get turned off, I ended up losing the house(we're staying with my parents right now) and pretty much I was trying really hard to find a job which I havent been able to. But when she was at the rehab place we would talk about Suburban Sunrise as if it was over. So one day when I went to go see her I asked if she wanted to keep SS going and she said as soon as she got out that she wants to start on it again. So now she has been out for about a month and we are working on a new record!
When can we expect new music from Suburban Sunrise? And, do you have a label?
We're releasing an individual single sometime next month and we want to release the new album in JanuaryNo we dont have a label. But, we are wanting to get picked up by one. So if anyone is interested in us we are open to just about anything!
Well I can honestly say that I'm excited for it! Any tours?
No tours probably until we can get back up on our feet, or until we are asked to tour with someone
