TISHA & DANIEL PART II: Where Did Tisha's Money Really Go? Is Daniel Guilty? Is Tisha Innocent? The Resolution Below.After weeks of intense investigation and research Tisha and Daniel are tired. The process of finding the swindlers who embezzled money from Tisha and Retailers has been draining for all parties involved. However, a rainbow shines today, when
Tisha gets a phone call.
Tisha answers her phone, “Hello”.
Deputy Radcliffe, “Yes may I speak with Ms. Tisha Jackson, this is officer Radcliffe calling from the 41st prescient.”?
Tisha, “Speaking, this is she.”
Deputy Radcliffe, Well we have Detective Sung here and he has some news to tell you, and a Mister by the name of Daniel on an investigation filed in our prescient close to two weeks ago. He wants you down here ASAP.
Tisha, “Okay sure, I’ll be down there as soon as possible. How long will the Detective be there?
Deputy Radcliffe, “Until tonight, but news is very important and we need you here as soon as possible.”
Tisha, “I’m on my way sir just give me about an hour and a half”.
Deputy Radcliffe, “No problem.”
Tisha hangs up the telephone and turns around and picks it up again. She then calls Daniel and tells him that he must ride with her down to the prescient in San Diego where they filed the claim because the Detective has some news to tell them. Daniel agrees and he and Tisha decide to meet each other driving to a local gas station close to both of their homes.
1 hour later
Tisha pulls up to the gas station. She sees Daniels car parked and parks her car to the next parking space by him. He rolls his windows down and says, “Are you ready”? Tisha says rolls down her window and replies, “Yeah, but let me fill my tanks and get some snacks”. Daniel says “Okay”. That’s when Tisha takes her vehicle out of park and puts it into verse and drives to the gas tank. She fills her tank and goes to pay for it. While paying she is keeping a look out on her car and getting some snacks as well. Tisha grabs a large bag of Lay’s Salt and Vinegar Chips and l Large Mountain Blue Gatorade. Tisha walks up and pays for her gas along with her snacks. She exits the gas station and to her car. Daniel pulls out towards the exit and Tisha pulls beside him. Tisha rolls down her window and Daniel follows her, Tisha says, “Okay, follow me because I know you don’t have directions”. Daniel replies, “Alright” and ask how long it will take them to get there. Tisha responds “No more than 30 to 45 minutes”. Daniel nods his head and says “Okay”.
Tisha pulls out and Daniel trials behind her. She hits the freeway and begins to open her snacks. Chewing on her Salt and Vinegar chips and quenching her thirst with her Mountain Blue Gatorade Tisha is enjoying the cool breeze streaming threw her car window. She puts the radio on and begins to sing along with the music playing.
Meanwhile Daniel is in his car behind Tisha. He begins to play a demo for a song her recorded. Realizing he is focusing too much on business he turns his radio on to clear his mind.
35 minutes later
Tisha and Daniel arrive at the 41st prescient in San Diego. They exit and begin to have a casual conversation about their day as they exit the parking lot and enter the prescient. They finally enter the prescient and Tisha walks up to the front desk and say her name and what she’s here for and mentions Daniel name as well. She also asks for Detective Sung. The front desk woman gets a security guard to escort her and Daniel to Deputy Radcliffe and Detective Sung.
When they see the half way opened door Tisha knocks lightly. Deputy Radcliffe comes to the door, and says “Tisha, Daniel, come in.” They enter and take a seat. That’s when they see Detective Sung sitting down reading his paper and he puts it down and greets them. Detective Sung has a very serious face, he looks like he plays ABSLOUTLEY POSITLIVELY 100% NO GAMES. He looks at Tisha and Daniel and reads both of their claims.
Detective Sung, “Now Ms. Jackson in your claim you say that you invested over 500,000 dollars into your own record, money you said which was supposed to be provided by your Record Label, which, this gentlemen here with you is head of. All of this is written in your contractual agreement it states here.”
Tisha, “Yes, Detective that is correct”.
Detective Sung, “Now I need to see the contract and also I need you to state and prove the exact amount of money you spend.”
Tisha, “Okay”. Tisha digs into her purse. She twists around from left to right and digs in and out of her bag. Daniel looks at her. Her bag is so big she can’t locate her documents. Then finally, she says, “Got it” and pulls out a folder. She points and says, “Here is a portion of my contracted signed and dated in August of 2010 stating my album deal, and they will provide me close to or equally the production cost to promote the album, because I was signed as an ‘priority artist’. But they failed to do so. Here are emails printed out between myself and label execs not Daniel at the time basically pleading for promotion money for the album and them refusing to. Tisha pulls another document out of her folder. Fast Forward to months later in April of 2011 I paid the radio station for airplay, for my second single. A job they promised to do, which is highlighted in my contract. May I paid some retailers to stock the album even though Junction was a bit more lenient and helped me out with that a bit, but not a lot. Then here is June and I paid for internet, radio, and television promotional cost and they still didn’t put up any money, as it says and is highlighted once again that they would in my contract.
Detective Sung, “Okay now that we see this documentation, Daniel did you know anything about this?”
Daniel, “No sir as you can see I didn’t email her at all, most of the talk with Tisha was dealt with Junior marketing execs and not directly me. But that is because I was placed at Junction in the swarm of a lot of things.
Detective Sung swirls his computer chair away from Daniel and towards Tisha and says, “Now can I see the documentation that shows the amount of cash you spent and the amount that you lost”?
Tisha pulls her documents out of her folder and says, “Here it is, the exact amount of 587,000 spent and 587,000 dollars lost out of my banking account. And 695,000 on retailers fees and taxing cost lost on my part. And 3.1 million dollars lost in total retailing for retailers”.
Deputy Sung looks at both Tisha and Daniel, and says , “Okay, I believe you guys claim and that’s because we found out what’s really been going on with this money and I want to explain it very slowly and I have It written down so here it goes.
Detective Sung begins to explain to Tisha and Daniel and they lean in with curiosity. “Now Ms. Jackson, you signed with Junction Records in August of 2010 and Mr. Daniel was not there at that time. So you were promised something contractually but what he should have done is gave you an updated contract with his terms of use. But unfortunately he didn’t do that which complicates things a bit. Now a lot of things went unsaid between you Daniel and Retailers. Technically you all were cheated out of money and we are gonna get to that momentarily. Now all of the promises in the contract where broken except one in which Junction did a half ass job on. So many messages weren’t talked over between you two. Therefore you two were both astonished when you found out all the money that had been lost and Tisha came out with accusations. Now do you follow me because this is just the first part of the story?”
Tisha nods, “Yes sir I follow”.
Daniel says, “Yes, please continue”.
Detective Sung, “Okay. Now most of the communication about the contract and record was shared between Tisha and Junior execs. But we contacted private investigators also and they assisted us. Now Daniel, you have many people under you but are you familiar with a someone named, Martin Rucker?” Daniel replies, “Yes he is the co-executive of the label and head of marketing” and ask why.
Detective Sung, “Well Mr. Rucker has been in contact with Ms. Jackson’s Public Relations people a lot. Ms. Jackson, do you know a lady name Juliana Morgan? Tisha says, “Yes, she was just elected executive of the pr firm that represents me”. Deputy Sung, well we followed many parties involved that sent emails and calls involving concern for the album. Basically inside people. And we caught them at lunch in Santa Barbara a total of 8 times. Our investigators heard them speaking of your situation with the record and money several times. They kept referencing a bank. Therefore we took a trip to the bank and we did an investigation there and it so fore turns out that the accounts of the retailers, Ms. Jackson, and parts of Daniels funds have been found in this account. The account was unformed and in escrow which made it difficult but not impossible to find”.
Tisha, “So are you saying that my PR firm and his employee has our cash?”
Detective Sung, “Well yes. We can confirm that the money is with them now and they’ve swindled it well but not well enough”.
Daniel, “So I lost money?”
Detective Sung, “Yes, money was swindled from forged contracts without your approval on them and placed into the account with Ms. Jackson and Retailers cash as well. Which means money was swindled into the bank from your label account”.
Daniel looks appalled. Tisha says, “So how do we go about getting the money back”? Deputy Sung says, “Well that’s when Deputy Radcliffe (points to the Deputy) and your lawyers come in. You need to get in contact with your lawyers and show them the documentation I’ve given to you and as soon as you do that he and I and our officers will make formal arrest”. Tisha and Daniel both agree. They get in contact with their lawyers and give the officers, the deputy and detective the go-ahead to make the arrest.
3 hours later
Deputy Radcliffe, Detective Sung, and four officers make their way to Juliana the exec at Tisha PR firm and arrest her and they make their way to Mr. Rucker’s home, the exec at Junction in marketing and arrest him as well. The case is filed in a court and a judge rules that there cannot be a trial because of all of the documentation proving forgery. Therefore the case is taken to federal court which is of lesser charge and Tisha and Daniel advise the retailers they’ve caught the swindlers.
The Next Day
Tisha, Daniel, and The retailers file a motion at caught all suing Juliana, Martin Rucker, Tisha’s PR firm and, The bank in escrow. The judge assures them justice will be served as they are held in custody into further notice and assures them they will get their money back. Edited by user 24 September 2011 08:49:27(UTC)
