RyanRossHernandez: Sometimes music should take over. When I was making what I still believe is my best album, Let a Man Be Lost, I lost fifteen pounds while making that album and I don't care. The final product was worth it. |

NadiaBerry: @RyanRossHernandez Exactly, and that's a fantastic album. #proof When you're struggling during the same time you're making an album, it just always seems to result into quality material. As you already know, I worked myself into a hospital bed to get my last album done, I put so many past troubles to bed with the record, and I can finally move on. Bringing all of that back up was hard, so thank you for being there for me, I would have seriously gone crazy if I didn't have you.

RyanRossHernandez: @Stephaniefierce Glad you agree. And that album serves as my benchmark right now. I wasn't entirely happy with my last record and now with the one I'm working on right now, I'm putting every inch of my body to make this album the best I've ever made. Despite me going in a completely different direction for it.
@NadiaBerry Then again, I'm not saying you should kill yourself while making it. As long as you have good songs written, that you connect with, the soul will be there. As I've said before, as songwriter you just see things differently. Sometimes I have to take a walk around the house at five in the morning because a song idea is picking at my brain. Also proof with your solo album, it is just fantastic. You don't have to thank me, I was happy to be there with you. I know how the mind of a songwriter works.
Also, in news relating to music. This album is coming out to be as different as any other in my discography. Folk influences are there. Country influences are there. Heck, I'm even learning to play lap steel guitar. |
