i want to get my creativity back to 100, so i can release my first single, but its stuck at 96.

i play concerts it won't move. i rest it still won't move. unfortunately, i can no longer practice song writing, because of a bug.

should i practice vocals / instruments?

what would you do?

Oh well, if it's a bug i don't know. But mostly when mine is at 96 and i tour i always get it back to 100.

what would you do?

1. If your songwriting is at 100, it isn't a bug that it won't go any higher, it's only ability that goes higher than 100.
2. You can't get creativity up by practising. The only ways to get it up are touring and resting.
3. If you already have the songs written, you don't need it higher anyway, until you need to write more songs.
4. If your songwriting is maxed out, and your ability is pretty high, just try writing the songs anyway, they should be fine.

my song writing is 100. when i try to practice song writing i get an error message.

in the beginning practicing and resting raised creativity. i figured it would still do so.

unfortunately, playing gigs and resting hasn't worked lately, which is why i asked for advice.

are you saying i don't need my creativity at 100 to put out a single? i want it to get as high a rating as possible. i would think creativity would effect it.

Maybe it depends how many points you give for resting compared with touring.

WELL DUH you get an error message if you try to practise songwriting when it's at 100, IT CAN'T GO ANY HIGHER. Did you read what I just said and I think I've said to you before, in other threads? IT IS NOT A BUG, it's just the way the game works.
Also, only 1. your song ratings, 2. the amount of points you spend on the single and 3. the more you spend on a producer affect your single ratings. Nowt else.

i know song writing can't go above 100, but i still want to practice. there is an entire thread on the bugs board dedicated to this very thing. its a bug. trust me.

you may be right when you say creativity does not effect a singles rating, but i want to be sure before i release it.

i just wasted another 7 points playing a sold out small club. my health and happiness went down, but creativity remained the same.

No it is not. I started playing TRSGv3 in 2005, and started playing TRSG in its earlier form in 2002, I know my stuff. You can't practise when you're maxed out.
