"What? You're not gonna lose her, you're her father, she'll always see you." She looks up at him, seeing how upset he was. She had told him she wasn't going out of the country but she recently had changed her mind and also had decided to take Sophie with her. "I-" She sighed and shook her head. "I think she needs a few more days with her dad anyway. She seems real happy around here more than at Layla's anyway.." She had felt guilty now for making it seem like she would take Sophie from Scott, but she would never do that, regardless of the situation. She didn't want Sophie or Bailey in a broken home at all, they deserved more than that. She let out another sigh and then took a step back, moving her hand. "I suppose I should go now.." She felt as if her presence there was making it uneasy for him.

Scott nodded a little, but deep down he knew that a time would come when he'd be touring the world again with District 13, Gia would remarry, and he'd never get the chance to see the girls. He fidgeted a little with his pockets, as if looking for something, and then clasped them in front of him, still staring out of the window. This was a lot harder than he had imagined. "No Gia, just take her if you want. It's alright," he said, very softly. Scott continued to stare out of the window until he turned around when she touched his arm. He stared at her for a while. This was the first time he had looked at her properly, and he wanted to hold her, tell her not to go.

Scott stared at Gia for a long time. In truth, he was devastated that his own actions had led to the woman he had loved for so long looking so tired, so sad and so empty. He wanted to take her in his arms and just cry with her, but found that he just couldnt pluck up the courage. It was then that he realized the truth. This was the moment that he noticed for the first time how distant they were going to become. He thought for a while about how he would feel when she found someone else and he felt sick at the thought.
"Please Gia take her. Its too hard for me just now. I just...I need to be on my own now. There are things I have to sort out now. Things I just have to do." There were thoughts, depressing.thoughts running through his mind just then. Scott knew it was going to be a difficult time.

Next Day....

Gia had been in China for over 2 hours now and she was tired and confused. The sudden trip caused her to brush up on some Chinese. It made her laugh a littlehow funny she sounded, but she was shocked how many people spoke English. She had gottem her room at a little hotel then made her way across the city to find her destination. Once she arrived, she got out carrying Sophie in her carrier. She was asleep after the long ride. She went inside the hotel and got her information from the front desk then made her way upstairs. She knocked on the door, waiting and hoping she would answer.

Gia wasn't surprised at the shockful tone of her voice. "Uh..yeah. I know it's probably weird seeing me here but I just came because I felt like we should talk..or something." She nodded slowly and smiled a little. "Unless you want me to leave then I can.."

"Yeah, she's growing so fast. I feel like I just got her the other day.." She stands beside a chair and then looks at Nadia. "I just really felt that I should come and make things clear with you since it's gotten really stupid and crazy fast. First of all I wanted to again apologize for that interview and you know. It was honestly just a joke and I didn't say it with the intent of making you mad, and despite things I've said, I'm not doing this for any other reason than to just clear the air and stuff. I also don't want you to think I only come to you whenever my relationship is, apparent to everyone, in trouble, I did try to reach out to you before all of this so just wanted to make that clear also."

"Well, I still felt like things were awkward between us so I thought this...surprise visit would make things better..." She saw the look on her face. "But maybe I was wrong, probably should have done this over the phone or something." She smiles a little. She figured Nadia would think she was weird now and probably just made things even more awkward. As soon as she heard her speak again she looked up from the ground a little. "Oh it's...it's fine. That's life I guess." She gives a small laugh.

"Well, I'm accepting all criticism and comments about this whole situation so another won't hurt me." She ran her hand through her hair. "So...you're finding this definitely weird now? I don't know, maybe I've been out of it these past few days with the whole quitting Studio60 and flying across the globe to apologize to someone and one might say it's a bit stalkerish also...trust me I just know people in high places, I'm not stalking you. I just figured it would be better if I did it face to face."

"Yeah....so I'll um, let you get back to doing what you were doing before I bothered you. See you around I guess." She picked up the carrier with Sophie in it and headed for the door.

Gia had walked out of the door, heading downstairs. As soon as she got into a taxi she sighed. Well...that was pointless I think. At the end of the day, I did what I set out to do so.. She just sighed. Sophie was still asleep and there weren't any signs of her waking up anytime soon. She just enjoyed the long ride back to her room. She stared out the window, watching everything and everyone. As soon as she got to her hotel, she got out paying the driver and thanking him. She grabbed the carrier and made her way inside, going upstairs to her room. She walked inside the empty, silent room and turned on the light. "Let's put you in your bed." She picked up Sophie from the carrier and laid her in her bassinet that sat by the bed. She then laid in her bed and stared up at the ceiling. She was proud of herself for going out of her way to see Nadia but still sad. At the end of the day, Gia was still alone in a foreign city with really no one to talk to. She feared that Nadia probably wanted nothing to do with her so maybe distancing herself would be best. She knew that Cassie was here but she was busy with Katie and had bothered her enough.

"Well this is what I get for doing something stupid.." She turned on her side, facing Sophie's bassinet and started messing with the sheets on the bed. She was now bored and gonna be bored and alone for the rest of this trip. Still, it was nice to get away for a while. "Sight seeing, that's what we'll do Soph." She placed her hand on her belly and rubbed it slowly. Bailey was kicking more and more each day. It made Gia smile to feel her baby girl kicking inside. She decided to just watch some tv and relax.
