Scott watched Gia intently, listening carefully to every word that she said as he stood there with his hand still gently resting on the underside of her belly, feeling the kicking of his baby daughter, which only served to make every word Gia said more real. Was she forgiving him here? He didn't know. All he knew was that Gia was right. "Gia," he almost whispered to her. "I want all of that too. You have no idea how much I want to erase the memories of everything I did wrong. I just want to put that behind me and take the chance to show you who I can be. I can be the husband you want. I can be the guy you fell in love with. I can be the family man that you crave. And I want to be everything that you and the girls need from me. Forever."
He breathed nervously and heavily as he watched Gia, there faces centimetres apart.

Scott smiled as she spoke and placed her hand on his cheek gently. "I love you too Gia. I will never stop loving you. I was very stupid, but I never stopped loving you for a second." He stared into her eyes for a few minutes, before knowing that it was the perfect time to right what he had done wrong earlier when he walked away from her. Scott placed a hand on each of her cheeks and gently pulled Gia closer as he moved his body towards her. He gently ran his fingers through her hair, stroking her cheeks with his thumbs as their lips finally met, Scott closing his eyes just before the soft contact.
He sighed as he felt her kiss on his lips. He had wanted it for so long, and now here they were, locked in an embrace full of passion. As it broke, Scott stared breathlessly into her eyes.

Scott nodded, stroking her cheeks with his fingers softly, as she stood resting her head on the wall. "Perfect Gi," he started. "Just like you. Perfect in every way."Moving his hands down from her face, he clasped them behind her back, running them up and down her soft skin as he continued to keep their bodies close together. Scott leaned in again, as if to welcome another kiss full of passion and love from his wife. He sighed softly as there was nowhere else he'd rather be in the world just then than in his own house, his wife in his arms.

As Scott felt her arms go around him, he knew that he and Gia seemed to be working things out in the passionate way that only they could. When she put her head on his bare chest, he tilted his head and kissed the top of her head softly. "I want that too Gia. Sleep has been so difficult for me. I just want you in my arms like we used to have to make me feel like everything is OK again." When she looks up, he kisses her nose. "Yeah Gi. Don't worry. I'm here for you now. For as long as you want me. OK?" He hugged her tightly and then lifted her head slightly to look at him with two fingers under her chin softly.

Scott smiled. "I won't Gia. I promise. I'll never leave you. I'm always gonna be here for you." He saw her look sad just then, and made a promise to himself that he would never make any mistakes again. Never do anything to hurt her for as long as he lived. She deserved that much of an effort from him at least. He knew that this was the girl he wanted.to be with, and he was so happy that she had opted to give him another opportunity to prove himself. He nodded. "Yeah Gia. Bed sounds great right now." He paused. "Your room or my room for sleeping in?"
He bent forward a little, kissing her shoulder softly.

Scott smiled as she called it their room rather than her room. Nothing had been worse in all this than sleeping alone at night. He loved her, and he wanted to be with her again. Forever. He hugged her close to him and felt Bailey kick out at him. "This is it Gi. Our perfect little family right here."
Scott took Gia by the hand, kissing her lips again. "Come on babe. I just want to lie with you all night."

Scott climbed into bed and sat up beside Gia. He looked at her and smiled. In the week that they were split up, he had slept no more than an hour at a time. Now he felt that with his wife and their bump beside him, he might find sleep once again. It felt good to have Gia beside him. Without her, he had just felt empty. But now. Now here they were together again. He looked at her. "I love you Gia'" Scott whispered.

Scott wraps his arms around his wife and starts to smile, so happy that they are back together. He kisses her head softly and gently traces his hand over her soft skin on her back. Tonight he was certain that they'd both get a good sleep. Just like they needed.

Scott woke up lying in bed, wondering if what happened last night had all been nothing more than a dream. He yawned and turned over, opening his eyes and seeing Gia with her back to him. He moved closer and kissed her shoulder softly.

"It wasnt a dream," he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her, one hand coming to rest on her baby bump, their baby bump. He smiled as he felt his whole family together again.

Scott smiled when he heard Gia's breathing change to indicate she was awake. He chuckled as she spoke. "Me? Why is it my fault babe? I didn't do anything." He keeps his hand pressed onto her stomach gently. "Morning Gi. I missed this," he says as he kisses her softly. Scott sighed happily as they lay there together, Gia in his arms. He snuggled into the back of her neck, just happy to have her back beside him at last. He swore in his mind that he would never let her go right then "Me too babe. I could lie here forever," he said. "Feeling better now?"
