Cassettes though...yeah, I have a quadruple cassette deck in my studio at home. The thing is rad. Nothing quite like listening to that high-pitched squeal as a cassette rewinds to the beginning. Remember that period between cassette and MP3 where when you stopped music you had to go right back to the start? No one thought that through. Also; Compact disc? Compact, my arse. It was bigger than its predecessor.

Kevin: Hey everyone, just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to Germantown tonight. The room was moshing like crazy, even had a wall of death happen. For those of you that missed it, you missed our own epic three songs (Our Last Dance, The Hollow, and Shadow Games) as well as a cover of Suzie's song "Burn Away". Luckily, we love our fans and had someone tape the entire thing. So, if you missed our cover of "Burn Away" you can see it here. Burn Away (Cover)- Originally by Suzie

Description: The song begins like Suzie's music video did with the sound of her heels clicking on the pavement but instead of the song breaking into a pop beat we hear a rising open chord that builds into the first verse. Jeremy's guitar plays a slightly faster, heavier version of the pop riff while the rest of the band chug and Kevin screams. At the end of the first verse everyone holds as the original pop beat picks up again and rises and then falls to the background as the band moves to a more rhythmic strumming pattern and Anthony's clean vocals sing the chorus. The chorus ends with a few short, choppy chugs and then breaks back into the verse again. After another chorus the band moves into an epic breakdown for a few measures. After those few measure they slow it down and the whole band sings while Kevin adds a few screams over the top. The breakdown/bridge ends with everyone cutting out to make way for a synth pad. The synth pad gets progressively louder as the bands moves into the final two choruses, while the synth continues on in the background. The song ends on the last word as everyone cuts out except for the synth pad.

Description: This song begins with a showcase of both Jeremy's guitar skills as well as Kevin's screams. The song then switches into a softer, cleaner section where Anthony lets loose on his vocals. After that, the song slows down, focusing on John's drums and then moves back into a shorter verse followed by the chorus. Next, the song moves into a vicious instrumental breakdown with Kevin's darkest screams possible. Then, it moves back into the chorus again and ends with Kevin talking for a line while transitioning into a scream while the rest of the band jumps into a final breakdown to end the song.
