"No...oh god no." She laughs. "Thank goodness the kids are half asleep you potty mouth. It's not really polite to keep bragging on your past flings Scott. I don't go around throwing my number in people's faces.." She looks at him. "I know, there's so few good guys in the world. I know he would never hurt Layla at all." She nods. "You realize it takes two to have a baby. I think it's best if we just help as much as we could and stuff. I'm sure they will always want their daddy around for them." She kisses him.
"Yeah...even when you were so scared to take care of her and I got left with all the work." She laughed a little. "I know, I just sometimes feel I could do better, be better but I know my girls love me." She shook her head. "Don't say that, don't call her dumb Scott. It's only natural for her to want to see Andrea when she gets older. How could you even say that? That's terrible to say. See? That's exactly what I wanna avoid. Making her feel bad for seeing her is not what I want." She sighs. "I'm gonna lay Sophie down now." She stands and makes her way upstairs to lay Sophie down in her crib. |

Scott laughs. "No? No lipstick for mama?" He laughs. "I know. You know I wouldn't talk like that at all when they're awake. I just like to tease you cos it's funny." He chuckles. "I know babe. Sorry, I just wanted to tell you you were the best. None of those other ones were significant at all. I'm sorry," he pouts a little at her. "I know. Mark will be like the perfect husband for her, and they'll probably have the perfect little family. I wonder what one they would look like." He thinks. "Yup....but still...I would be so mad. Of course I would support them though, and I'd only let them know I was mad at first, then I'd comfort them." He smiles.
Scott looks down at the ground. "Yeah...I had just never been around a baby babe. I was so worried that I would hurt her by lifting her or something. She was so tiny." He shrugs. "I learned though didn't I?" He nods. "I know it's natural for her to want to see her, but I meant she'd be dumb if she wanted to go live with her and abandon us. And of course I wouldn't want to ignore her just for visiting Andrea, but after all we have done, if she came and told me that she was going to live with Andrea for real then I'd throw all her stuff out and tell her to go to Andrea. Id be done." He shrugs. "It would be a kick in the face to us." |

She rolls her eyes. "Ha, Ha, so funny." She smiles. "I forgive you babe, just quit bringing it up. I know you would be mad but still we shouldn't run them away or anything." Gia was already up the stairs as he continued talking. "Still, it just sounded rude the way you said it and I would never say that about her. I'd support her because she's still my daughter. I couldn't even form the words to say she was dumb.." She sighs. "It would suck but I wouldn't say that." |

Scott smiles. "I'm sorry...I won't mention it anymore then. I'm a changed man anyway." He smiles at her. "You changed me for the better." He nods. "I wouldn't run them away at all. I'd let them now I was very very mad at them, and then I'd hug them and tell them that it's ok and that daddy is here for them. That's all."
Scott narrows his eyes. "So...if it got to Sophie being 16 and she just said one day that she was off to live with Andrea, without any warning, you'd be happy with that and not be mad? After everything we did for her?" |

Gia turns and looks at him. "I'm not gonna be mad at her for something she can't control. She's with us because I thought I killed her father Scott. If anything, she can blame me for Andrea leaving her in the first place. Even if he wasn't dead, Andrea still gave her up and she grew up not knowing her real parents. I think her wanting to see them or know them is the least thing I should be mad about." |

I'm sorry I feel like a bad person for causing all of this and to top it all off I have to have you and Andrea fighting all the time about Sophie and this and that and I wish you two would just quit. The bottom line is if Sophie wants to meet Andrea and have a relationship with her, we shouldn't deny her that. She only gave her up because she was alone with twins. I'm so sorry that I'm being stupid right now." She gets up and walks into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. |
