Gia stares at him before answering him. "Well....maybe in looks." She smiles. "I mean I want him to have your heart and your intelligence, your charisma, your talent, I just don't want him to be like the old you at all....I hate the old you. I don't want him breaking girl's hearts left and right, I don't want him to lash out at people and have a temper, I want him to be a good boy." She sighs. "I don't know what I want. I feel bad if I just take her away and I feel weird if she's like always there. I just don't feel like she's genuinely interested like I thought she would be. Hell, if it were my kids I'd go through hell and back to see them every chance I got...not just ask about her every 2 or 3 months. I don't know." |

Scott thinks for a minute and nods, still rubbing her feet. "Yeah....but no one I ever slept with got their heart broken. Almost none of them ever thought it would go any further than it did you know?" He shrugs. "I guess you're right though. After all, what parent would want me?" He coughs and rubs her feet .

He shrugs. "I mean that all the girls, except you really, who I slept with, knew that I was only after sex. Even you probably thought that after the Chaos Awards night." He sighs. He tries to nod a little. Lately the fact that he wasstarting his own ffamily made him think about the way his parents had treated him. It never used to bother him, but it did these days, and he blamed himself for becoming a musician. Promiscuous. A dreamer. He breathed sharply to hide his pain and looked at Gia as she turned his head.

After they had met, they had stopped talking to him and she almost felt like it was her fault. Maybe if she hadn't pissed them off so much, they wouldn't have left him. "Babe...don't.." Scott could sense her staring at him, and he had to fight his emotions. As much as he and his parents had clashed since he decided to go off on tour at 14, it hurt him that the people who had raised him now wanted nothing at all to do with him. He scratched his head and hugged her, burying his face in her shoulder.
"Thank you Gia," he whispered. "It just hurts sometimes. But you three have shown me what a real family is." He sighed. "I just feel I owed them to be more like the son they wanted. I turned into a disappointment." |

"She was awake most of the night, screaming her head off." Gia laughed. "Bailey just loves to sleep though. She wants milk and sleep." She makes it up the stairs and then walks to their room, gently laying Sophie down in her crib. She laid her stuffed penguin beside her and then kissed her on her cheek as she moved her mouth a little while she was asleep. Gia smiled at the sight. |
