Opinions on them?

If you havent heard of them -

I'm really liking the talent in Canada at the moment... Wintersleep, Alexisonfire, Arcade Fire, Nickleback - oh wait... ;)

Not that into it, but I do love the underground scene of Montreal. Arcade Fire are basically an overground and coincidentally less interesting version of a lot of the stuff on Constellation Records, such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion, Do Make Say Think and Fly Pan Am.

Arcade Fire is okay. I don't really like this type of music, but Arcade Fire ain't too bad.

I approve of Do Make Say Think.

And Godspeed You! Black Emperor are one of the most important bands of the last decade or so I'd say. They just created the most stunning soundscapes

A) How exactly is that pleasure guilty?

B) Godspeed only did one song in the film.

C) The one Godspeed song that's in the film is not on the soundtrack album.

Because intelligent music like GY!BE isn't encouraged when you are an Oasis fan?

Well that's wrong, the only GY!BE in the film was a portion of East Hastings, from F♯A♯∞, so whatever version you have is either not from the film at all, or is mislabelled as GY!BE.
