The song was written by Aliya Rose alone , and produced together with 'The Dream'. The song has hip hop, r&b and some electro influences to it. Lyrically, the song is about a 'Dope Christmas', it's about presents and celebrating Christmas. The sound has something dark into it, it starts with an electro up-tempo beat, but gets slower when Aliya's intro to the Song begins. Her Voice has a Raspy Sound , which makes this song much sexier then it should be. Although, Aliya is working hard for her debut Album, she wanted to give her Fans something to hear. 'The Dream' who also produced Songs on her debut Album , wasn't really supportive in the beginning. He wanted to focus on the Album , but changed his mind and worked with Aliya to produce this song. First , the track wasn't supposed to be a Christmas Song but later she changed the Lyrics to a Christmas Version. Which also may be the reason , why this track has a 'Sexy' touch behind the sound. Thank you for having me! Let's start with a easy Question. How old are you? Aliya : Ehm. I'm 21. I'm turning 22 in July next year! How's the debut Album going? Aliya : Well , it's kind of complicated. I'm writing on some songs right now , but there isn't a Song which is 100 % in the Album. I still need to choose the right songs for the Album. I also wouldn't mind getting Songs from other Songwriters , but It didn't happened yet. Nobody seems to be Interested. But yeah, It's great. The Crew is really cool, and so kind. They are really like a Family to me. That's Awesome! What about your Family? Where do they live? Are They supportive? Aliya : Well, my Family lives in Switzerland right now. We went from Barbados to Switzerland 15 years ago. I never asked why , so I can't say anything about it. And Yeah. They are really supportive. My Brothers , I have 4 , and my Parents support every step I take. I think , if I would ever fall, they would catch me. I really love my Family. Where do you live? Still in Switzerland? Aliya : Well, no. I went from Switzerland to New York City last year. I'm living in small beautiful Apartment. And the last Question, why did you release this Track? Is it going to be on the debut Album? Aliya : Well , it's Christmas. That's the reason why I have recorded this Track. Even though it wasn't planned to be an Christmas Song , it became one. And It's not going to be on my Album. This Track was rushed and isn't the way I want my Album to be. But , I wanted to give my few Fans out there something to listen to. Well , thank you Aliya! It would be nice to see you again! Aliya : Thank you too! I guess I see you when my Lead Single , which hopefully comes Next Year, drops.
