“How old are you, Adam? You know, I can’t remember…” David asks, his usual curious self.

He takes a sip of his drink while staring at Adam, and Rose, smiling, adds,
“I think I wouldn’t mind just relaxing today either… Between laundry, toys everywhere, and cleaning the house. Oh my God!”

Rose smiles and nods, glancing around. Ever since becoming a mom and living with her partner, she’s probably not used to this kind of social life anymore.

“But I thought daddies were kinda trending lately…” David says, sipping through his straw with a cheeky expression.
Rose looks at him, slightly surprised, wondering if Adam might take offense. But this time… it doesn’t really seem like that’s David’s intention.

Rose smiles at Adam, pleasantly surprised—how sweet of him to ask, she thinks. Gently, she places a friendly hand on his shoulder.
“Oh, absolutely not. Thank you. You actually seem like a really lovely person.”

David seizes the moment to joke.
“See? You’ve already charmed Rose. But careful—she’s got a kid and a boyfriend!”

Rose laughs, slightly embarrassed but plays along with her friend, nodding playfully.

David and Rose chuckle. She finds Adam sweet—he seems very genuine, maybe even a bit naive. So different from the person he used to appear as in the tabloids years ago.

David, on the other hand, replies with a sly smirk, cheeky as ever.
“Maybe it’s my genes…”
—hinting at the past between Adam and his uncle Den almost ten years ago.

“Mature men are totally my type, you know?” David adds with a laugh.

“You can’t tease a poor curious guy and then back out,” David says with a smirk.
He sets his drink down on the table and casually grabs a chip from the appetizer plate near Adam and Elyar.

Rose watches the two of them, playing with the straw in her drink.
She stares at them with a little smile—curious herself now—starting to wonder where this conversation might be headed.

David looks at both Elyar and Rose—like someone about to say something outrageous, but then stops himself. The old David would’ve gone for the usual shocking, scandalous line… but he doesn’t really feel that way anymore.

“You said your mind is going to places… I’m just curious. I mean… we’re all adults here. Everyone likes a little spice, right?”

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with talking about sex—after all, we’re adults…” David says, half cheeky, half reassuring.

He locks eyes with Adam.
“What were you thinking about? I’m curious…”
he adds with a little chuckle.

David decides to hold back—once, he would’ve pushed the moment and made Adam uncomfortable. But that’s not really who he is anymore. Realizing he might have embarrassed him, he offers a strawberry cheesecake-flavored treat from his table.

“Are you guys based in London now? We should totally hang out sometime… and eat more strawberry junk like this together.”

Rose nods eagerly and grabs the treat before anyone else can.
“I love strawberries!” she exclaims happily.

David and Rose almost seem like two kids when they’re together—sometimes.

While Adam talks, both Rose and David keep an eye on Elyar, slightly amused.

“He’s worse than I was when I used to show up shirtless on stage,” David comments.

“Um… you wouldn’t still do that today, Dave?” Rose asks with a confused smile.

“Today I’d probably go with an open shirt. A sheer one. I’m more sophisticated now.”

“I’d recommend sheer shirts—they add that extra flair without being totally shirtless… Especially the black ones” David says with a wink toward Adam.

Rose giggles.
“So… what’s life like in Chicago, Adam?” she asks, trying to gently break the ice again in a less awkward, more casual way.
