Today, Jakey spoke to fans over his blog. Among other things his third solo album was one of the topics discussed. Jakey confirmed that it will be out in February 2010, after pushing it back a further month due to touring/recording clashes. He also announced that he plans to release the album's first single, 'All Politics', this month. A 30 second preview can now be heard on his MySpace page. Other tracks announced for the album include 'It's Not Raining Anymore', a song Jakey has been playing live for the past two months.

Also on the agenda was details of his future plans. He is so far undecided as to what comes next. Jakey did say, however, that if all went well with the album he'd definitely be taking some time off for the first time since he entered the music business. When asked of when he might return he stated that he was still unsure and had no plans of when, or if, he would return. The only solid plans so far are to release the third album and go on a headlining tour of the USA.

This has left many Jakey Comatose fans wondering if his next album, 'Negative', will be his last.

Well this is a real surprise. I didn't think Jakey was the kind of man to quit while he's ahead.

"It would really be a shame if it was Jakey's last record. But I guess it's better to leave the game while your on top than wait until you're completely irrelevant. Whether it be his last album or not, I will be sure to try and make it for one of his shows, here in the US."

I hope this isn't your last record. It would suck bad not to be able to tour with you anymore.
