The small group of decicated 'The Verdict Is Vengeance fans, waiting outside of the band's first ever venue, Rayleigh Mill, are now being let in to the low key gig that the band is using to show off songs that they haven't ever played before, fans who pre-ordered the album had been given the chance to go to the last gig before the UK tour offically starts. As they fill the small venue fully, the band's opening act for the night 'Counting Down To Yesterday' take to the stage performing some of the most brutal music the 500 strong crowd will have ever heard. The song 'Death Dance' gets the crowd moshing within the first 10 seconds with heavy screeching guitar work using to pump everone in the venue up. After the song has ended the lead singer of 'Couting Down To Yesterday' Brad Smith shouts at the crowd "We're Counting Down To Yesterday, are you ready to go fucking crazy? Good 'cause this next song is an old The Verdict Is Vengeance song named 'Glass Half Empty, Glass Half Smashed Round Your Face!' The mention of the song is enough to get orginal fans to go mental with the near perfect cover giving the crowd more reason to love 'Counting Down To Yesterday'. After the mayhem from the crowd had died down, Brad Smith shouts "This is our last song tonight, so when i jump off the stage get ready for the biggest wall of death that you have ever seen!" As the band plays one of there own songs 'You'll Be Alone With A Knife' the crowd is getting more and more hyped, until Brad Smith jumps into the crowd and everything just goes insane. Somehow getting back onto stage to finish the song with one deep death growl. The band then quickly leaves the stage and begin to mingle with the crowd asking for opinions on the music and how they seemed on stage.

Backstage the lead vocalist Kieran Marks and lead guitarist of Rob Williams are preparing for the first gig in nearly two months. "What happens if i can't sing like it sounds on the album?" Asks Kieran, who has been known to worry before gigs. "Well thats not that much of a problem if they haven't been able to hear any songs of the album, and it's not like any of them care that much, they only really come so that they can say 'We went to the Christmas Eve gig'" Replies Rob, who is used to dealing with these type of situations. "Anyway we're on now, no time for worrying now" Shouts rhythm guitarist Phil Nind from across the room.

The band run out onto the small stage and the venue is all of a sudden alive with the screams of the 500 strong fans. "Everyone who is at the gig tonight, Will not ever forget it!" Shouts Marks above the never ending screams. "So anyway we're gunna be playing you some brand new songs from our new album!" Willaims says somehow getting his voice over the crowd, although this statement just raises the screams. "This song is from our newest single, it's called heartbeat!" Marks shouts again. As the band play the song, the crowd watch the band with amazement, all of them singing all the words, "these are the die hard fans that will always support the band" think Marks. As the song finishes the crowd begin cheering, while still wondering what new songs could be played. After playing new songs such as 'Crash And Burn' and 'Diamonds Aren't For You' which some of the fans began to mosh to, but most of them just wanting to remember the lyrics to post on their myspace and facebook accounts to show off. The band breaks up the new songs with a cover of 'Can't Stop Got A Date With Hate' by Lostprophets, the cover is almost as good as the original song with some lyrics been screamed to give the crowd a reason to jump up and down to the legendary song. After Can't Stop Got A Date With Hate' is over Marks begins to talk to the crowd about the next single for the album which will be 'The Sadness Won't Ever End', but doesn't give away many details, the band then plays the song, and the fans go mental knowing they have heard the about the new single before anyone else. "We've got one more song for you guys tonight!, It's a song that hasn't made it onto the album, and might not make it onto any b-sides, so you people might be the only people to hear this song ever! It's called 'Dreams Of Summer Deaths'" The fast song without any synth used at all is enough for Marks to shout out in the middle of the song "Make a wall of death!" which the majority of the crowd take part in, it's the best end to the bands best ever gig. "Thanks guys for coming out, you fans are what make us want to write our music! We love you all!"
