After 13 weeks of monitoring the charts, we are proud to announce that Reckoner's debut album Invisible, though only limited to selling in 4 regions, has reached
PLATINUM STATUS for selling over a million copies worldwide! The band are currently preparing themselves for their first big tour as support in Jakey Comatose's Negative Tour alongside Black Gold Reign, Troy Mascenon took some time off and had this to say:
"Thank you all for being very supportive to the band and for buying the album which has helped us a lot to spread our music, anxiety, and message to the world, we love you all, fans, haters, critics, and everyone else. We are now planning to release our 4th single, which would be Oxygen, on March 17 and we hope you'd still support it, it features a more poppy and soft side of the band, not that we are being sell outs but because this is how the song came out and there is nothing we could do about it. We would also like to comment on the issue revolving around fellow alt rock band, The Voyd. We don't believe their comments about the Birdies that it's all about fame and blah blah, but we still respect their opinions and I think that we should all lay this thing to rest, I've read their interview with Spin and I thought that its just right for all of us to leave them be and forget that all this happened. By the way, Yumi Takahashi has got to be one of the hottest, most talented, and best musicians I've ever seen, and JC wants to be your date if you'd go to the Birdies."
