There is waiting, and then there is waiting to the point it's almost ridiculous. The latter is what can be said for those who have been looking for a new archaic couture. album since the anthemic goodnowgo. archaic couture. is finally back, with two new fresh faces, and a seemingly all-grown up Mila Ahtisaari (Now married, of course!) and original drummer Chris Sekine.

The new album, titled Make Something Count is set for release, and promo copies have already shipped to reviewers and others in the music industry that had ordered it in advance. "We're excited, this is going to be a solid release." said the band's leader and vocalist Mila Ahtisaari (sporting natural brown hair and a noticeable lack of eye shadow) in a release conference on Tuesday. "We've been working hard on this one, I hope you like it!"

Early reviews seem to match Ahtisaari's hopes, with plenty of positive words to say about Make Something Count. "Stockington's guitar work is easily an equal to Kristina (Reljic), and Mila Ahtisaari proves once again that a really small person can put out really big vocals." said Aaron Kelly, on Las Vegas-based music website clarkcountylive.com. Anna Stewart of Alternate Magazine says "Mila Ahtisaari may be the most versatile person in music, one of the few who could pull off a heart-felt experimental pop rock album with archaic couture. then turn around and smash stages in Europe with stars over her eyes in Archetype 09."

Incredible! It's fair to say, I've been waiting a while for this.... I say we all blame Syke!

From what I've heard, this is going to be amazing. Seriously.

Of course! It has to be his fault! More copies of the album have been sent out to you guys to get a bit of a taste before everyone else.

Also, don't forget, we're still running the No Time Left For Sleeping tour through July in the United States. It's been going great so far, and apparently others agree, since it was recently voted the number one tour of the season at the IMAs! Be sure to check it out before it's too late.

Yes! Finally! I'll be buying this as soon as I can. The "experimental" label really intrigues me.

"It's hard to believe it's been only a few months short of a year since Make Something Count. We've kept quiet since the last tour, but expect something big in the coming months. A big hint comes in the form of two names from the past. Kristina Reljic and Benjamin Morris. Hope you guys are still enjoying Make Something Count, and we'll see you soon!"
