I agree with about half of that list.

I'll accept that haha.My friend doesn't listen to much metal and wanted to play keyboards in my bands so I made him a mix CD and then I was like "that was fun now I'll make him a heavier one" so this is that one.But it has a few mainstream jams on in like toxicity actually that's the only really non heavy one.Which ones do you not agree with, bet I can guess. The Decapitated,Atheist,Dimmu,Possibly Nile, and Suffocation. Maybe System too.

Maybe this'll clear it up:

CC = Brilliant, seen them at least 4 times.
Sep. = Anything Arise onward is pretty tight
Nile = Eh, they're ok.
Immortal = HELL YES
Opeth = Immortal times a million
Suffocation = Not mt favorite, similar to the way I feel about Nile, which is ok.
SOAD = They're pretty hit or miss with me, some of the stuff off Toxicity is cool (Prison Song and Deer Dance) other stuff (Aerials), not so much.
Atheist = Pass, good musicians, just doesn't work well with me.
Behemoth = I got Nergal's signature he signed on my back tattooed, if that says anything.
Burzum = Most definitely a big yes.
Mayhem = Sure, they're pretty cool
Decapitated = Once again, not my cup of tea
Dimmu = Little bit too, oh, un-blasphemous? For Black metal at least.
Death = Chuck is one of the greatest musicians ever, period.

So basically, you hit it right on the nail haha. I might do one of these for myself sometime soon. Who knows?

Just doesn't work for me. It's got some cool grooves, and I feel if they produced a more raw version, with a bit less of the robotic playing, possibly change up some of the cliche single note ploy-rythm/double bass syncopated riffs, it would be a cool song. Those are my main problems. Plus the vocalists got like one sound, which gets kinda old. Now it's my turn.

Grave Flower by Acid Bath
Alas, Lord Is Upon Me by Behemoth
Existence Is Punishment by Crowbar
Suicidal Maniac by Suicidal Tendencies
Megalodon by Mastodon
Hook In Mouth by Megadeth (Youthanasia pretty much broke my heart)
Pixel & Nasal by Pinkly Smooth
Dead Embryonic Cells by Sepultura
Malpractice by Testament
Dope Fiend by Naplam Death
Stabbed In The Throat by Cannibal Corpse
...Of Darkness Spawned by The Black Dahlia Murder

well they can't really play less robotic, they're also all like 19 when the song was made and the vocalist doesn't really develop versatility till the next album.Honestly I think you need to check out their album winds of creation it's not like polyrhythmic just amazing.

Really, Acid Bath are ewww? Acid Bath are one of the finest, most under-rated metal groups of the 90s.

Absolutely gorgeous

Easily the best French band I have yet to come across.
