OOC: I had to rush this one, mainly because I realized that Part 3 never had a part 2, if you know what I mean.... So excuse-moi. I know it's third person and mostly dialog :( Basically this is girl talk roleplay so i don't expect many responses from this part anyways, but Part 3 is a little less girly. I promise. After weeping, both ladies have a rough recovery while getting to the restaurant, mainly Stephanie Fierce who had had a slight headache making her feel a little bit woozy as she walks in the dinner. They walk in and a song by Ryan Ross Hernandez is heard playing softly as both Steph and the woman sit. Steph doesn’t hesitate to ask the lady her name.
-“My name is Sandra Bullock.” She replies confidently. -“Um….Cool name!” Steph giggles. -“Yeah, people always say we’re related . She actually stole my name! Not fair at all. Anyways. And you must be Stephanie Fierce!” -“Cool name?” Steph giggles not expecting a response. -“I like Stephanie.” Sandra says honestly. “But yeah. I am actually surprised you came up to me like that. Nothing wrong, I’m just shocked. People usually wave and then think I‘m crazy” -“I really don’t know what came to me. I mean…. you just look like my grandmother, and she was like my mother to me. So I sort of just wanted to really wish you well for some reason. -“Well, I thought it was sweet of you and no matter how famous you are, there I nothing wrong with talking to people.” -”Right.” -“And your mother?” -“She passed away 2 years ago.” -“Sorry about that.” The lady quickly replies.
A brief moment of silence follows. The song by Ryan Ross Hernandez sounds a little louder as the song reached it's final peak and both Steph and the lady just listen. After the song is over, the lady finally speaks.
-How was your mother like? -She was just….there. -Realizing that Stephanie didn't really want to talk about her mother, she changes the topic. “Can I ask you something?” -“Sure.” -“How does it feel to be….like you know..... -“Famous?” Steph replies. -“Yeah.” Before Steph could continue, the waiter; who had a voice that sounded like a dying mule, interrupts the conversation. -“Welcome to Sassy’s Dinner, what would like to order today? “ -Sandra beats Steph to it and says “We’ll have two Coffee’s and some white crackers please and… -The waiter interrupts Sandra once again. “If you order any pancakes or waffles on the blue side of the sheet, you can choose any side dish for free, and buttered toast ,we have a special on that today..... mam“. -With a sassy tone, Sandra replies “Um, That’s everyday’s special and no we’re having nothing else……mam.” The waiter gives Sandra a dirty look and walks away. “Anyways, so what was I saying?” -“You sure told her! -I see her almost everyday, and I don’t really like her attitude. But yeah, Continue. - You asked me how does it feel to be famous.” -“Right! So….” -“Well, it’s great! It has its up and downs. But overall, it’s great. Why you ask?” -“I actually thought you were going to say it’s horrible. Well...... when I was younger I wanted to be a super star just like you. Back in the days where you had a to have the voice and the talent…… I had that voice and the talent, I just didn’t have the green or the approval. In top of that my parents were very religious and didn’t approve of such things. So I had to wait until I got out of high school to start. Life was so rough and it just never happened. But I’m 62 years old now and I have absolutely moved on from that. Image an old raisin like me singing on stage!” The lady giggles.
The waiter quickly returns with the cups of coffees and some white crackers. Places it on the table and interrupts once again. -Would you like anything else -No. Sandra Quickly replies. -Stephanie smiles warmly. “Hey you never know, that could still happen. But just look at it this way, God wanted you to be something else. Maybe fame wasn’t meant for you.” -“Yeah, I guess!”
A moment of silence then follows. Both Steph and Sandra take loud sips off their cup of coffee. A song by Stephanie Fierce herself comes on. -"The lady probably did that on purpose" Says Steph. -Sandra giggles. "Most Likely". -"I hate hearing myself in public places." Steph takes her hand and rubs her forehead looking down at the table in shame. -"But just look at you! You're a star!" Sandra giggles in amazement." Doesn't that just......amaze you?"". -Steph takes a deep breath. "Yeah".
Steph while still taking sips off her coffee waits for the song to be over. Once the song finishes she continues. -"So....." Steph then smiles. “I see you’re married..... What a Beautiful ring!” -“Thank you, I was thinking you already knew since It was all over the news and magazines when it happened.” -“Ah..... I don’t pay attention to all of that non sense when it comes on. Except when they mention "John Derek" of course." The lady giggles. -“You should come to one of my shows! Steph insists without realizing she is changing the whole conversation. -“No offense...but I’m not really into that type of music. Too loud!” the lady strikes back. -"Well...I can understand." Steph replies as if not hurt by what she said. "You have any kids who would probably like to see me?". -"Nope. I could never have children." -Steph takes a moment to catch on as to what she meant. "Oh I'm sorrry". -"Nah. As you said God let's thing happen for a reason." -"Ah come on not everything is God's fault. Well......". The waiter quickly comes over when she sees both ladies are about to leave. This time she comes over a little nicer. Stephanie takes out her flashy black credit card from her wallet, but surprisingly Sandra tells Steph to put it away. Steph looks at her confused. -"Ah don’t worry about it! My treat" Sandra Smiles.
Not only did this say a lot about the woman to Steph but it made Steph feel normal that for once someone paid something for her. However guilt still took over Steph as they excited the dinner. -"You didn't have to do that!" Steph insists. I was.... -"Well I invited you in, the nice thing for me to do is pay. And plus, she didn't deserve that big tip you were about to give her. But just notice how she came across a little nicer when it was pay up time.
This surprised Steph as it came out a bit bitter to her.....
