It has been confirmed that singer/songwriter Jakey Comatose has returned to hospital for tests to be carried out on his blood. The singer suffered from leukaemia at the start of the year, and after a few days of reportedly 'feeling weak and throwing up a lot', doctors fear that treatment may not have removed all the cancerous cells from his body. Jakey was irradiated, killing the cancer cells earlier in the year, and then treated with a bone marrow transplant to 'reboot' his immune system. However, if a trace of the illness remained in his body, it is very possible for it to take hold again.
The location of the hospital has not been revealed to the public, for safety of both Jakey and hospital staff. Due to this, Jakey has not been reached in order to comment on the events. If all is well, it is expected that he will return home within the next few days, and this is when a statement should surface. Jakey's management, however, have said that Jakey could do with people's support during this scary time, and that people should just 'wait it out and not start freaking out over what could be nothing'.
