Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/04/2010(UTC) Posts: 4,147 Location: Brazil Thanks: 2880 times Was thanked: 3513 time(s) in 1683 post(s)		ElectroDeath Released the third single from their last album, the single was released Digitally and physically worldwide with a special b-side, a tribute to Miss vanity’s single “Blackout”, the song choose was “Dancing Alone” a song produced by Danja and wrote by ElectroDeath it is a electro pop song with a romantic appeal, the lyrics is about a breakout between a couple and one of them went to a Party but when the chorus starts the person starts to cry. Also a remix was released for dance clubs made by Kaskade, the remix is more upbeat and electronic then the original version and also has three minutes more than the original length. This single also marks the last release the band is making with their, ‘till now, record label SMA Records, for further releases and Tour promotion the rights passes to girls brand new record label Shooting Star Records! So keep it up for big releases and announcements soon. Single Artwork and Set List 1- Dancing Alone 2- Dancing Alone (Kaskade Remix) 3- Blackout (Miss vanity Tribute) MUSIC VIDEO The Music video was recorded in Los Angeles, in a nightclub, the video is the most expensive video ElectroDeath ever made, they spend almost one million dollars to produce it, the video doesn’t have a storyline like previous video by the band, “Dancing Alone” mix closes in the girls faces spelling the lyrics of the song and dancing performances in the dance floor alone, the girls perform a ballet number on the dance floor, this number starts with simple moves and lighting club effects, as the song grows the dance number became faster and gold glitter starts to falls from the club’s roof, the girls continues dancing with linked images of them singing the song each separate from the other in the small stage that the dance club has. When the song enters in the second strophe, the dance floor starts to shine, in different colors, and others dancers appears to complete the ballet number the girls were dancing, right in the second chorus starts to rain in the club, and everybody put the hands up to reach the water drops, when they realize they are not water drops but they are “gold” drops, these drops cover the floor and the dancers, when the song reach its final strophe everybody starts to walk away from the club as the final chorus is signed the girls are left behind, this scene the camera shows the girls faces, and they are with gold make up, but it seems that they cried a lot, with their blurry eyes, the video ends with them placed in the center of the dance floor alone and “crying gold tears”. MTV host: Good Evening ladies and gentleman, how are you all doing? We’re doing really fine, and I’m with good company here, she is beautiful, talented, a great singer and songwriter, and she is not alone, she is with her girls and together they made up one of the most successful girl bands nowadays the ElectroDeath! So give it up for Magie Lena!! Nice to meet you girl, I have to say you’re more beautiful personally, I mean, you’re really beautiful in videos and photos but personally OMG heheheheh… Magie: Thank you… ahmm… How are you guys? The crowd went crazy, screaming her name… MTV: You guys are in a crazy year don’t ya, a new album, a new tour, and a brand new contract with Shooting Star Record, so how it’s going on for you girls, because if we see your numbers, now you have a top five single released and a sold out tour to start next 22th October on the Madison Square Garden?! Magie: wow, now you talking this way made feel me scare a little bit, (smiles) anyway, yea it’s being a great year of work for us, the reception with this new album it’s something we didn’t expected, I mean, we are recently in a new way of our musical style, we started with an industrial style of electronic music, and now we are in a club electronic style, and the fans are so receptive to it, and this new single in special, reached top five in 4 different countries and top ten in others, so it was very well received by the critics too, we are very happy with all of this! MTV: The video you filmed for this single, it’s your most expensive video, and you spend one million to produce it, why so expensive? And who’s the idea of the video? Magie: Expensive, I really don’t feel so expensive nowadays, you have beautiful videos that Miss Vanity for example, filmed, with a lot more money spent, we wanted to make something very photographic, so the idea was collective, the director Mark Arkelung, he captured our idea of a gold dance floor, and made it in a more suitable way, so we still have the gold thing, but it falls dawn as rain, and there is the ballet number we dance, so beautiful and matched exactly with the song melodies, everything were made with hard work, we decide to spend some time to produce it, we spend almost a week for rehearsals and shooting. MTV: Do you intend to perform this song in the tour? Just like the video? Magie: It is hard to have golden rain in every concert… but for sure we are going to make a special performance for this song. MTV: About this tour, you have made a special performance in the Miss Vanity Tribute with some artistic things in the concert. It was a sneak of how this tour will be? Magie: hummm… I cannot reveal how the tour will be, but I can say that we have special performances for every song and it will be magic!! Also the first concert will be television, the concert will be filmed live by MTV and all of the fans will be able to watch it here… MTV: Ohhh, you massed the surprised, so this is it guys, if you are fan of ElectroDeath, don’t forget to watch the MTV World Stage ElectroDeath live on 22th October direct from Madison Square Garden. The girls appeared with their band and more four dancers, Magie was wearing a tight black dress, Lilly were wearing a tight black skirt with a red shine shirt so does Yulia but with a golden shirt. The girls were side to side with three microphone sockets made of fake gold, the song started with Magie singing, and the choreography by the dancers with them, they were dancing street dance with ballet movies, just like the moves in the video, the chorus is sung by Yulia, the second strophe is performed by Lilly, and again the chorus by Yulia, the song enters in a break melody, where the girls starts to dance like the dancers, they dance ‘till Magie sing the last strophe as an introduction to the last chorus of the song which is sung by Yulia, the performance ended with the dancers leaving the girls alone, also the band end the song and leave them alone, the camera closes the girls and Magie said “Thanks”. “Dancing Alone” peak position World: 13 UK: 9 USA: 4 Canada: 14 AUS: 9 South America: 3 Asia: 24 Europe: 5 (‘Till second week of release)
