It has been a long time since any news has come to light on the fate of Jakey Comatose, and many fans have been waiting with baited breath. Last month, Jakey Comatose entered hospital after feeling weak, with fears that his leukaemia was returning. This report was the last anyone heard of Jakey Comatose, once one of the industry's biggest names.
In the months following his wife's (Raven Comatose) death, Jakey had reportedly become more and more reclusive, often spending weeks alone in the house the couple had previously shared together. A close friend of the Comatose family, interviewed earlier today stated "I guess none of us really noticed how ill, both mentally and physically he had become. When I last saw him, he was wasting away."
Eventually, Comatose was convinced to check into hospital to have tests carried out, still insisting that it wasn't leukaemia, but just that since Raven's passing, he'd found it very hard to eat and had become annorexic. However, news was the worst when tests for leukaemia came back positive, indicating that treatment he had previously undergone was not 100% successful, leaving cancerous cells in his body that were once again beginning to take over. Jakey was told that though this meant a low chance of survival, it was not impossible for him to recover, and that he would have to stay in hospital.
"I was there when he found out. It was weird, there was no expression on his face. He looked as if he had given up. When the doctors left, he confided in me that he didn't have it him to withstand the treatment again, and that it'd kill him long before his cancer would. A group of us sat up with him all night and talked it out with him, begging him to give it a chance, and eventually he agreed. We all left his room that night feeling low, but as if we'd at least had a small victory", the friend, who wishes to remain anonymous, continued.
However, shortly after this, nurses raised the alarm when they discovered Jakey's room to be empty. The hospital was put on lock down as the premises were searched, but Comatose was no where to be found. There was no signs of him leaving the room through the window, and his disappearance through the hospital would not have been possible, due to the many hospital staff who would have stopped him. This leaves the events of that night very suspicious indeed.
Police have said that they do not believe that Jakey could have left the room unassisted. So was he assisted in running away from his illness? Or did something far darker occur, instead Jakey being forced to leave? Evidence has proved far too inconclusive for any real conclusion to be drawn. All that is know is that after a month of no sightings, Jakey Comatose has been officially reported missing...
