Tour Review: Rapper Rel's In My Lifetime Tour
I am still trying to figure where this young rapper came from and how is it that he has managed to sellout an venue in Philly.
People have been showing up. All of the tickets have been presale, a lot of them have been at the door and they all are sold,”
Fans are rocking merchandise, singing the words of the songs all before the concert has even began. His fans are some of the most deciated fans I've seen in a while

I felt refreshed after hearing this young kid. He gives hip hop something to look for, he's a new artist thats making good music at a steady rate. Rel and his camp seeing that the show was sold out, gave a hell of a performance.

Book Of Love started out the night with a high energy performance. Most of the fans present were there for Rel but as the group started delivering his popular efforts, such as “Lakes”,more and more hands went up.At this point, everyone was captivated. They closed out with their own version of “I Wonder” (their own lyrics). The crowd was left wanting more from the band.

(Rel walking on stage)
With every hand in the air, DJ FYI dropped Plies’ “Plenty Money” and right after letting the first verse play, Rel comes on stage with a hand full of money during the chorus and then threw it into the crowd before spitting an freestyle to the crowd’s delight. At the end of the song he said “Still no record deal but still we gon be major”, in a sarcastic tone. After introducing hypeman/brother, “Kevin", Rel performed new songs “There's Nothing Like U“ and “I'm the Man” which was enough to have the audience prepared for the main course. Rel informed the crowd that “I'm on my way. That's what people told me after I made this mixtape.” to introduce the mixtape "In My Life" that brought him a lot of attention and new fans this past summer. He went through more than half of the mixtape including his verse off the “The End ”, “I'm loaded” and the apparent fan favourite, “I'm In Here”. Relknows that this mixtape is a classic and he didn’t disappoint, but he also found room to cram in songs from his new mixtape "Its All on Me" as well as other mixtapes.

Before his last song, Rel had three things to share before he left:”1. Thanks to Books Of Love. 2. I'm dropping next year with or without a label. 3. Y’all are the best fans in the world. Thanks,Philly”. He then dropped “The World is Mine” to a satisfied crowd. Before Rel can leave the stage the crowd screams for an encore. With an huge smile on his face he jumped right back on stage for the encore with “I Wonder”. The performance as a whole was very intimate and it’s clear that he has a really good solid fanbase . He captivated the audience and the time he spent smiling and giggling during and in between songs suggested that the audience had captivated him as well.

Occ: Decide to change charter from Lil Boosie to Wiz Khalifa

Rel is starting to enjoy success because of talent, hard work, and dedication. The amount of thought he puts into his performance, his nonchalance attitude, is very well part of what makes fans love him. That’s why his fans love him. Its because of the connection thatis made through his music. He's so down to earth. He seems like just a regular kid you would see walking up the street. Its a wonder why he isn't signed to any label.
