 -the passion for destruction is also a creative passion-I am Point, my name is William Jefferson. The idea behind point was a simple one - to create music. Not music that would be heard by the masses, just for me, and for anyone else who wanted to hear it, as a way of expressing myself. It's difficult in the modern way to express yourself fully, with governments and media watching your every move, controlling you when you don't even realise it. You end up expressing yourself by going to work and making money. What sort of society is that? We're fucking told from the moment we first take a breath til the day we die that money is the most important thing in the world. Perhaps not directly, but in the subtle hints of everything around you. Everything has a price, and you're told all the time to get everything and anything you want. It's this pursuit of materialistic things I want to challenge, through making this music, maybe it's not the words, or the sounds, or the artwork, or the live shows, but if anything changes your mind even the slightest about the life your living then that's my job done.
Fucking go paint the walls of your room pink, go fart in your bosses car or take a shit on his desk or fuck your headteacher or take a line of coke off a prostitutes tits or smash in a car window or take a shit on someones desk or listening to some fucking punk music or go to a rave or fuck your daughters best friend or beat someone to death with a brick or nail a cat to a wooden pole or beat someone to death with a cat nailed to a wooden pole or fucking go fuck some ugly fat bird then get married to her and have shit loads of kids which you'll end up resenting and paying for the coke they shove up their noses and the pills they swallow, who gives a fuck, just do something different you lazy arsehole, stop being such a fucking tool and make a difference in the world, what are you waiting for, why are you sitting there pumping out endless droning boring bland music that everyones heard before, try playing a guitar with only your arse hairs, make something interesting of yourself.
