OOC : The Christmas Extravaganza! To bring back or not?

OOC. I'm not sure whether to bring back 'The Christmas Extravaganza' competition. Basically, what you do is sign up in this thread to do a Christmas single (your own song or a cover song, it doesn't matter as long as it's about Christmas), release it ingame on Christmas Eve, link it, and whoever gets the highest chart wins. I've done this twice, 2007 and 2009 (2008 was a TBSG Christmas, I obv. did that as well).
Thing is, there's been a mass exodus to RP-only, so there'd be a lot of people who either wouldn't be able to join in, or would automatically do badly starting from scratch, or maybe a little too well if they've got 20,000 points or something saved up, tipping the scales a bit.
Continue the tradition or not? Your thoughts?

-bkx. I say hell yes! I remember winning one of the cover extravaganza's. Why have the game collect dust right? Then again what you said is true, and that wouldn't make it all that fun. I'm still down though.

(: I'm pretty sure we all still have at least one ingame account, otherwise we wouldn't be here. And if we do better/worse (more likely worse, I think activity's taken into account) because we've left it gathering dust, then so what? This is only a contest. |
