Greetings world. We are Labrats. We're a electro-punk band from Phoenix, AZ, in the style of Hadouken!, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and The Prodigy. We've been playing some shows at small clubs around Phoenix, Tempe, Albuquerque and Las Vegas and have built up a bit of a fan base. We're releasing our debut EP Monday, and we're celebrating with a release concert/party Monday night at Stratus nightclub in Phoenix. Tickets are $20, it'd be great to see some people from the music industry there. We're also getting the concert shot at a low budget and making the video available for $1 download from our website.

Some information about the band.

Milton Mitchell (vocals, guitars, synths)
Lara Branik (guitars)
Liam Mitchell (synths, turntables)
Preston Abelford (bass)
Bonnie Snell (drums)

Debut EP "All I Wanted Was A Threesome"

1) All I Wanted Was A Threesome [2:51]
2) Labrats? Labrats! [2:10]
3) Sexual Napalm [3:49]
4) Test Subject 1 (Instrumental) [4:02]

Finally, thankyou for bearing with us, we're looking for a support slot on a tour if any bands would be happy to have us. If any thinks we'd be a worthy support band drop us a line.

Labrats Live @ Stratus Nightclub 17/01/11

Well, we played the biggest show of our short careers tonight. Not a big crowd, probably just shy of a thousand, but definitely the biggest crowd we've played to. We scanned the room for music industry types, didn't see any but maybe they were there. We played our hearts out, balls to the wall in a short, tight, sweaty, energetic set. We aimed to maked everyone lose their minds, hopefully we did that. We played the songs on the EP, as well as debuting a couple of new songs and also playing a couple of covers of songs we just love to play. Again, we shot a low-budget video of the concert, so once that's edited we'll make that available online on the cheap.

Setlist

Test Subject 1 (Instrumental)
All I Wanted Was A Lousy Threesome
Hey Baby, Want Some Adam West Penis?
Labrats? Labrats!
Atlantis To Interzone (Klaxons Cover)
Rich People Say Fuck Yeah, Hey Hey
Manifesto
Tales Of The Chameleon (Does It Offend You, Yeah? Cover)
Sexual Napalm

So, we're still hoping to get taken on as a support act for someone, it's really a time in our careers where we would benefit from the exposure. So if anyone thinks we'd do a good job of warming up a crowd, get in touch, we currently have no further dates planned so we are wide open.

Adios

Milton Mitchell on behalf of Labrats
