Moak On Fire recording artist Al Young aka Rel has reached out to his fans from NewSun State Prison in Savannah,Ga.
Since being sentenced to a 11 months sentence in last week, Rel makes the best of his time behind bars. Young was convicted and sentenced to jail time for having unlawful possension of an firearm.
The rapper has reached out to his fans in his latest attempt to let them know of his status.
Rel told Matty in a handwritten letter that he’s holding up pretty good at New Sun and that he also works out regularly and participates in all sports leagues. “Of course I hate it, but hey, the worst part is that I lost it. I lost my drive to make music. Its just so depressing that I can't get inspired and write music" wrote Rel. “Life is short and the time you waste in jail can never be replaced,” he added.
Also in the letter Rel says "Tell cherise I said hey for me. I heard the new material..well some of it and I love it. I'm glad to see all her hard work paying off. She deserve it all." |
